"This is where the guys for my wedding party stayed. Excellent little place. Property manager picked up all phone calls right away. Nice little view of the lake and in arms reach of everything in emmetsburg "

"I’ve never been able to stay in a house near Five Island Lake, so this was a cool experience. There is a great fire pit area and dock down by the lake. Overall you stay here for the proximity to the lake and the newness of the building. Which is not really offered in any other rental house in Emmetsburg. Grateful for the opportunity to experience it! The house has beautiful new wooden flooring and a nice living room. Check-in using the door code was perfectly easy. The house is set quite far...

"My husband and I along with 2 siblings and good friend spent 2 lovely nights here for our grandsons graduation. The house has been beautifully remodeled so the kitchen and 2 upstairs BR are large and bright. The kitchen is well stocked with Keurig and drip coffee pots and coffee and tons of staples (spices, pancake mix, syrup). The owners live in town and are very gracious hosts. Highly recommend! "

"House was perfect for our family. We needed extra room for visitors during the day. The living room/kitchen area is spacious and the deck area also has plenty of seating. We also loved the bedrooms for the kids! The lake was gorgeous! House is right on the water with a nice beach area as well. Had chairs, beach towels and a kayak for us to use. "Very happy with the rental. Make sure you bring drinking water because the water isn't good for people or your pets. Comfortable couches and lots of seating. "

"Girls met here for long weekend. This is an older home updated. We didn’t do any cooking basically just slept there. Kitchen appears well stocked. It’s winter in Iowa, so parking of vehicles is required to be in the alley. Plenty of room for our vehicles Owner great to work with; very quick to respond to questions. We will definitely book again!!"

"Check in was very easy and communication with host was good. We stayed for a celebration of life for ironically enough for a member of the family that grew up in this home. So we had spent time at the home. Host allowed us to check out the attic area when we requested this. Being an old home there were some issues. The oldest bathroom shower water went to nothing and then freezing cold. I can understand this happening but a warning is recommended. Instructions for the TV were not provided....

"Wonderful. Everything there at home that we possibly could need for our family gathering! Beds comfortable. Everyone commented on how great the home was. Very homey feel. Loved the wood burning fireplace and weather even nice enough to enjoy the outdoor firepit one day! Will be booking again! "
