"We recently stayed in Mauna Loa Shores for 4 nights. The condo was clean and nicely furnished with basic kitchen amenities. Our unit also provided beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and a selection of snorkel equipment. The location is excellent as it is situated right next to Carlsmith Beach Park. It has a beautiful balcony view of the beach park and nature area directly behind the condos. In addition, there is a very good restaurant, The Seaside Restaurant, within a short walk....

"We highly recommend this property. Very relaxing location right by the ocean, you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. Beautiful view of the sunrise from the upstairs or downstairs porches.This house is on the edge of a sea cliff so does not have direct access to the waterfront or a beach. "Stayed for a few days. House and property was nice. Enjoyed seeing the goats outside our window. Weather was nice and cool except for the last day. Wish there was AC for the warm humid night. No paved driveway."
