"Beautiful property with all the amenities you would need. It made fir a fabulous family staycation."

"The Thomas Guard house is a very special place! The setting is spectacular, with waterfall and jungle views from multiple lanais. There was plenty of space for our group of seven to spread out (including three kids and two grandmas) - everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was ideal for our family. The house is beautifully and lovingly restored and well-maintained. There is no air conditioning, but each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a floor fan, so we all slept in relative...

"We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous ranch house. My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had family come over for a barbecue. It fit us all comfortably and we all enjoyed the beautiful view and animals roaming around. 5 stars all around. "

"The views from this house were incredible! We enjoyed meals on the oceanfront deck, and it was fun to watch the cruise ships and cargo ships going in and out of Hilo harbor. Randall was helpful and responsive. What a memorable place!"

"Many unexpected extras made the stay superb. Yoga mat greatly appreciated, as were the dumbbells. WiFi worked great. Didn’t use the TV, so cannot comment. Bed very comfy. Kitchen supplied everything we needed. Filtered water container in fridge lasted all 3 days. Would definitely book this again "

"This was a great place to stay to enjoy the Hilo side of the Big Island. Sitting on the patio enjoying morning coffee or an evening meal were the favorite moments of our stay. The owners are kind and giving hosts and proud to share the bounties of their farm. "

"We had a brief and wonderful stay at the tiny house. Adam is a responsive host at a fantastic location. This tidy, tiny, house had all our family of four needed to end our visit back on the big island. The location felt remote and yet minutes to Hilo’s historic district as well as quick access to the nearby surf break. Gas range and outdoor fireplace under the covered porch made for lovely home cooked and memorable meals. Overall, a gem! "

"Beautiful home and location. Beach across the street is rocky but gorgeous. We saw several large turtles grazing on the shore. Beach/park is public and can sometimes have locals with loud entertainment, etc. Still a wonderful stay!"

"Great location in Hilo, walking distance to Ola brewpub and view of the park was right outside the balcony. Very responsive to our requests. "

"We had a fab time. Jack the rooster made sure we woke daily at 6am. A the manager made sure we were safe in our first ever tsunami evacuation. The snorkeling with the turtles in the "back yard" was the cherry on top! "
