"This is a lovely, well furnished pod that makes great use of all available space. Beds were very comfortable. The decking is great for sitting out. The harbour is a short walk away with the Fairy Glen walk and the costal John O’Groats trail. We had a lovely stay."

"Leider wurde der Bungalow doppelt vergeben. Wir hatten Glück und konnten mal reinschauen, sah top aus. WiFi ging auch und die Zwischenmieter waren nett. Die Gastgeberin konnte ich beim zweiten Versuch erreichen, reklamierte aber es tat sich nichts. Wir mussten eine andere Unterkunft über Booking buchen. Muss jetzt gucken wie ich mein Geld zurück bekomme. Ich glaube es ist eher die Schuld von Expedia oder FeWo Direkt, aber tut mir leid, bei so etwas kann ich nicht mehr als Minimum geben."

"We enjoyed our one night there. The host was quick to respond to texted questions. The train across the street did not disturb our sleep. There were a lot of dvds to choose from for the evening entertainment. The hosts sent a detailed set of instructions which made finding and using the house easy. "

"Fisherman's Rest was exactly what we were hoping for. We needed somewhere to stay in Helmsdale while we waited to get the keys to our new property, and needed it to have internet speed fast enough that my husband (a programmer) could work. This comfortable cottage had everything we needed! The kitchen was well-equipped, and meant we didn't have to eat out 3 meals a day. (Which gets old, really quickly for me.) The bed was comfortable, as is the furniture in the living room. "
