Welcome to my lovely home for a fabulous vacation, or a business endeavor . Guests have access to the entire 1-story home with pool and spa, palm trees, an abundance of flowers, fruit trees and unobstructed mountain views in a secluded neighborhood.. Multi colored pool lights at night create an enchanting atmosphere. Kitchen is well stocked with many amenities, spices, coffee, tea etc. Convection oven is perfect for cooking and baking! I welcome up to 5 guests and 3 bedrooms/ 2 baths, office and laundry room. Base price is for 2 guests, any additional guests pay more as displayed on the VRBO website. I'm located in the North West of Las Vegas, close to hwy 95 and interstate 215. There are two shopping centers close by, eateries and fast food, hair dressers, pizzeria and more.. About 10 min on Hwy 95-S is the Centennial shopping center, Cosco just 15 more minutes on 215-East. I’m available if you have questions or need help. You will be swept away when marveling at the sunrise from the backyard or house and the moon by night. Just 15 min. to Mt. Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, golfing about 8 min, 25 min. to the Strip; 60 min. to Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, couple of minutes to Tule Springs Park (Floyd Lamb park), & a few hours to Scott's Castle in Death Valley or Valley of Fire, and a few more. Las Vegas is centrally located to reach an abundance of many tourist destinations and attractions like Grand Canyon, Brice Canyon, Antelope Valley, Monument Valley, Lake Powell just to name a few. I do care about my guests wellbeing as I put myself into their shoes. Their happiness is my number ONE priority.. Many of my guests come back each year to find relaxation, enjoyment or seek new adventures. As a host, I make sure they find that extra little thing they expect. I enjoy being a host to serve my guests for over 10 years. I'd like to offer you too my vacation home with the caveat of a very special fabulous Get-A-Way.

Vegas Wedding Get-Away

This property was a fantastic little getaway from the busy strip. My (now) husband and I booked this property for our Vegas destination wedding and honeymoon. I was drawn in by the pool and hot tub and the open space which I knew would be needed. After booking Sigrid and I spoke on the phone and she was incredibly accommodating for our wedding needs and allowed us to have a couple of family members, and hair and make-up artist come to the property the day before and of our wedding. We also arrived later than the 9 PM check-in and she completely understood and welcomed us with a fresh baked pie while she went over the house rules. During our stay we spent most of our time out and about and the property is located in a great location for traveling to and from the strip and other local attractions. It is quiet but it is bright! I will agree with another reviewer/previous guest that it was during the introduction to the property that we were told that Sigrid lived on-site in a unit that shares the yard, garage, and driveway. I also should have read the details regarding the A/C temps during the day/night on the listing as they are required to be within certain parameters. That being said, Sigrid was incredibly nice (she brought me flowers on my wedding day 3 ) and so was the property.

Challenges with Comfort and Accessibility During My Stay

My experience at this property was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was left waiting outside, and inside, the thermostat was set to 86F. While I was allowed to use the AC, I was restricted from setting it below 74F and instructed to reset it to 83F or higher when leaving, which impacted comfort.The home did not feel fully prepared for guests. The dishwasher was full, the utensil drawer needed cleaning, and there was an unpleasant odor coming from a fridge in one of the bedrooms. During the walkthrough, the host introduced several house rules and did not disclose that she lives onsite in a separate unit sharing the yard, garage, and driveway, which affected privacy.I was unable to use the main driveway, as the host's vehicles occupied the space. Surveillance cameras were present, including one above the driveway that was not mentioned in the listing. My reservation was unexpectedly canceled by Vrbo following the host’s complaint, and I was given very little time to vacate.I recommend reviewing the property details carefully before booking to ensure they align with your expectations.

Amazing property!

The property was beautiful, filled with natural light, and had such a peaceful atmosphere—being off the Strip made it a perfect retreat. We especially loved how relaxing it was to take a dip in the pool. However the spa did stop bubbling after about 40 minutes and never really got hot but I’m not sure if that was an us problem or notOne thing to note is that the listing mentioned the property wouldn't be shared with the owner, but we did notice their presence during our stay. It was a bit unexpected since we've used Vrbo multiple times and hadn’t encountered that before. Additionally, when some family stopped by for a short visit, we were told the owner checked in to ensure everything was in order. While we understand wanting to be cautious, it felt a little surprising in the moment.Overall, we had a lovely stay and truly appreciated the space and tranquility the property offered

Always a pleasant relaxing stay

The 4th year we have stayed with Sigrid at her beautiful house. We come out to Vegas to play golf, then we are in the pool all afternoon, and grill up dinner. Sigrid is always welcoming, caring and responsive. The location is far from the Strip but that is what we are after. We'll be back next year, and the year after that and the year after that.

Great vacation rental and wonderful stay!

My wife and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary with a stay at this beautiful vacation home. Being from Minnesota, we so enjoyed escaping the cold weather and long winter with a 4 night stay which we spent most of at the house and lounging around the pool and in the spa. Everything we needed was in the home. Also had many stores/restaurants nearby. Our only regret was that we didn't book our stay for longer. Thanks Sigrid!

Everything was amazing! We loved the property and the open layout of the house was amazing. Sigrid was so hospitable and her lemon tree had the most amazing lemons! If your lucky she will let you pick one. Thank you for the great get away even though the pool was too cold to get in.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location!

We loved our stay. The home was spacious, beautiful, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed.The outdoor space was our favorite - plenty of seating poolside surrounded by plants, palms, and mountain views. The location (about 25 mins from the strip) was perfect for us. It felt like a quiet oasis. Sigrid was very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at her place.

A place of calm and peace!

Fabulous location, well away from the noise and bustle of Vegas. Easy Uber access back to town when needed. Multiple shops etc near to the house. Quiet, upmarket residential area on the northern fringe of Vegas, where the desert takes over.The house, land and pool are high quality. Sigrid lives next door and is a delight to talk to. Her love for the property and her plants shine through.We had a simply superb stay and are looking to return next March.

Great Stay, Quiet Neighborhood

Very clean home and excellent communication. Has all the needs for a stay. On business to Vegas and did not want to stay on the strip. Very easy travel to the convention centers, easy off of the highway and convenient to local shopping, trader joes etc.It was great to come back to the quiet and easy pace. Wish it was a bit warmer weather to enjoy the back space, but was great watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee in the sun room. Was a good stay thank you Sigrid!

The rental property at 8900 Silk Bonnet Court was a wonderful place with all the comforts of home. A full kitchen with all the amenities. The master bedroom and bath were a great size with a huge master closet that will accommodate all your travel luggage. The lovely sunroom overlooks the beautiful backyard with pool. Definitely something to indulge in. More importantly was the host of the property. She was ever so gracious and made our stay ever so pleasant. The property was also close to the main arteries that would take you to downtown Summerlin and to downtown Vegas within minutes. Easy access to public restaurants, groceries, and medical services.

Wonderful experience

The house and yard are lovely, views are beautiful. The pool was a worthwhile expense even in winter. The house is well-appointed, more so than the other VRBO rentals (dozens) we've stayed in. The kitchen included every item needed, towels were plentiful, beds were firm and very comfortable. There was ample hot water and excellent water pressure. Owner is very reposive and helpful. She was present to greet us on arrival and provide guidance on the house rules, as well as recommend local hiking information. She lives in the semi-attached casita next door (i.e. owner lives on property). The house was clean, the neighborhood was safe and quiet. If we could change just two things it would be the living room furniture, which we found to be uncomfortable (though that may be an 'us' thing) and the plant overgrowth immediately next to the pool which resulted in daily pool sweeping and having to dodge plants to get to the spa - small things in comparison to the overall excellence of the house.

Wonderful rental

3 buddies having a yearly reunion wanted to enjoy LasVegas but get away from the hustle and crowds on the strip and Fremont Street. This house was perfect, great neighborhood, easy access to all of Las Vegas, Sigrid, the owner was welcoming and helpful. would rent again without question. Recommend the hidden gem in Las Vegas are microbreweries in Art District, try one or more both for beer and food.

Sigrid was a wonderful hostess! Her place is lovely and well provisioned. Our only beef was the pool and hot tub were not usable at the arrival temperatures and the cost to heat them was prohibitive. Nice yard with interesting plants and birds. Easy access to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Traffic noise as it’s on a corner but not bad. All in all a lovely place to vacation!

Relaxing, comfortable home with pool and beautiful garden

This is a spacious, beautiful home with attractive, private, landscaped outdoor space. It's in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. The gardens offer a tropical oasis. There always seems to be roses blooming everywhere among the palm trees and flowering plants. With the patios, pool and spa (hot tub) to use anytime day or night you can enjoy plenty of time relaxing outdoors having drinks or snacks there or just enjoying the luxury of your own private pool when you are home. Every so often you may see a hummingbird also enjoying the gardens with you. Indoors there are comfortable bedrooms, a large living area plus a dining area with formal dining table in addition to seating at the kitchen island or the glass table and chairs alongside the windows looking out at the pool and garden.There is also lots of comfortable seating with couch and chairs to watch TV or read. It's convenient to prepare meals at home here. Pots and pans and dishes and utensils are all here to use. Grocery stores as well as good restaurants are minutes away. We can't think of anything we wanted that wasn't there: there's a microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, toaster oven, espresso maker, blender etc. to use besides having the stove and oven for cooking. It's a quiet, comfortable home. We have been renting it for years for an annual visit to Vegas. It is so much better than a hotel room. You'll never have to share pool and outdoor areas with strangers. You'll enjoy this excellent home away from home.

Our wedding and honeymoon stay

The house layout was nice and welcoming but we couldn't have the temperature lower then 78 degrees when it's 121 degrees outside for most of our stay. I'm sorry but who does that when the temperature is that high you can't turn on the ac. We turned down to the 60's for most of our stay. The propertymanagerhas control over the house temperatureandkeptraising the temp over 80 degrees. We kept turning down so she came over and yelledat my husbandsayingthat is unexceptable. The propertymanagerdidn'ttell us that she lives next door and wouldknockon our door and if we didn'tanswershe would put her coe in ajust come in. What would happenw. We could of beenshoweringor in bed.The pool is only cleaned on monday then it olnly lastsforaday becauseof all the flowers and busheswith bugs gets in there and i couldn'tdo anything about it.where the hot tub is the property owner can see you through her windows so no privacy and we caught her walking in the backyard trying to get in the house. The master bedroom has a TV that is half faded and has no dvd player or tv cable at all. The spare bathroom has ants all over the floor by the toilet and all in the tube. Easy over a hundred of them. The pots and pans are out dated everything stuck and burned our food or it would ruin our meal. Make sure you don't open your blinds because she has a gardener come everyday in the morning. Again overground so it's hard to get there safely plus the manager can see the hot tube from her windows so no.because
