The host Shirl was amazing and responsive to communicate with. We needed to change the dates of our trip from January to March and she was able to work with us. Checking in and out was very easy.The house is comfortable and well stocked and towels and linens. It is not a new property and it shows in small places but does not affect the comfort of guests. The only thing that threw us off a little was that in photos of the rooms there was a bunk bed situation but IRL there is only one double bed. Luckily one of the people in our party of 6 was willing to take the sofa. BTW the sofas are VERY comfortable to take naps in should anyone find the need. The best thing about this house is it’s proximity to stores and restaurants which are all walking distance or a 2min drive. It is also very close to the freeway. I highly recommend this stay for people visiting the Las Vegas area if you are looking for a chill place to rest away from urban bustle.

Nice, quiet neighborhood, enjoyed our stay. The hinges on the bedroom and entrance doors could use some lubricant. Faucet diverter to shower released excess water down the drain instead of through the shower head. We found the shower floor to be a bit slippery.

This is our second stay at Welcome House and again, everything was fantastic. Very clean, loads of room, loved the games, quiet neighborhood, and everything we needed for comfort. The host, Shirl, is very attentive and truly cares that her guests have an enjoyable stay.We also love the location…convenient to stores, restaurants , parks, and most importantly our grandkids!We will definitely stay at Welcome House again when we visit our Vegas grandchildren!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for our purposes and we had enougn space to be comfortable. Communication with the host was good. Our only complaint is the beds. They were pretry uncomfortable for us ladies over 40. Your mileage may vary.

Spacious, quiet home

We were visiting family in the area and this location worked well for us. Easy access to groceries and restaurants and about 30 min to Vegas strip locations. The home felt more tired and worn than it appears in the photos. A dishwasher would be a nice improvement, along with some more comfy mattresses. Note that the description for one of the bedrooms is misleading and seems to indicate there is a bunk bed AND a king bed in one room…that room just has a bunk bed. (Total of 2 Kings and one twin/double bunk bed in the house)

Nice home in quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home which is located in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. If you're looking for a place to stay in north Las Vegas, you should consider staying here.

Just What We Needed

We chose this house for the location and price and it exceeded expectations. It was a comfortable place to cook and sleep while we visited family and friends. Shirl was very accommodating and made sure we were happy with everything. I would definitely stay there again.

North Las Vegas Stay

Convenient location for exploring desert parks and natural areas in the region. Rental has a washer and dryer that is not included in property description. We could have packed fewer clothes for the week if we knew they were available.
