Enclosed, lawned grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Dogs only welcome. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Barbecue available.. All properties: Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Enclosed, lawned grounds (shared with other properties on-site). No smoking.

Lovely little cottage ideal for 2 and your furry friend.

Lovely little cottage ideal for 2 and your furry friend. Hosts are really welcoming and are on hand if any problems. Great location and very peaceful, dogs very welcome with a wonderful 4 acre fenced paddock which our dog loved. Would highly recommend for either a short break or longer.

Fabulous stay in the Tack Room

Very comfortable and well equipped property. Nice sitting area in the courtyard. Owners very friendly and helpful. We will be returning to this lovely property.

We had a great long weekend getaway.

We had a great long weekend getaway. Made to feel very welcome. Even though other guests where in nearby cottages it felt very private. Great dog paddock. Cottage lovely and cozy. Just to have made it 100% perfect the pillows are very hard managed 1 good night's sleep out of 3. But pillows are very personal choice so you can't please everyone when it comes to bedding. Un known to us when we booked there was a Bare naturist event going on in the caravan and camping site next door, It did make us giggle well actually laugh a LOT but there was no disturbance from noise at all. Maybe we should have got a day ticket haha. Already recommended to friends with dogs too. Yes we would stay again but take my own pillow next time

This is delightful accommodation, clean, very comfortable and well managed by hosts John and Caroline (and Oscar!), for whom nothing is too much trouble.A pint of milk in the fridge and some cookies were very welcome on arrival.There are lots of lovely walks within the area but wellies are essential as The Tack Room is sited within the Somerset Levels!!Loads of information provided together with an impressive library of dvds and jigsaw puzzles in the communal conservatory and a selection of books in the cottage.A return vist later this year is already being planned.

We stayed in The Tack Room cottage for a weekend break .

We stayed in The Tack Room cottage for a weekend break . We were greeted on arrival by the owner John who showed us our accommodation & gave us all the necessary information we required for our stay. He was very friendly & helpful regarding the local area & amenities, places to visit etc & said if there was anything else we needed whilst at the cottage to just pop round to their house next door or call their mobile & they would be happy to help. The accommodation from the outside is very pretty stone built & solid it was warm , cosy, with a lovely inglenook fireplace & beamed ceilings with everything you could ask for a long or short break . Kitchen was well equipped to do self catering but also their was a welcome folder, with pubs & restaurants close by for all tastes & budgets ! The bed was enormous & very comfy.The bathroom was clean & compact, with a saniflo toilet which John had explained was noisy if you weren't use to them . The shower over the bath was OK but my partner who is 6' 2" struggled to stand fully upright due to the low beamed slanting ceiling but not really a problem . If you have a dog they are welcome to the property & they have a paddock for them to have a run around in. The cottage was in driving distance to many places so location is excellent . We really enjoyed our stay , it was peaceful , relaxing & excellent value. Would definitely recommend & will be visiting again

Owners are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Very scenic area. Property was clean and tidy, with local shops and pubs close by. With plenty of walks and places to visit right on your doorstep
