"We rented this house for my daughters wedding at Machias Meadows. My wife and I as well as the bridal party stayed here. There was lots of room for everyone. We did use an air mattress or 2 but nothing was cramped. The first night we lost power for about 5 hours because of a fallen tree and after I sent Joe a message he was able to give us updates on timeframe to get it back on. We also lost air conditioning but I gave Joe a quick call and with in 2 hours it was back on. Overall we had a great...

"The house was perfect for a weekend girls trip! We were greeted with wine, snacks and beverages in the fridge upon arrival. Stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Beds were comfortable and quiet neighborhood. In back of the house is a pet friendly walking trail along the water - perfect spot to watch the sunset. Close to outlet mall, casino and restaurants. We drove up to the Tulip festival in Mt. Vernon on our final day. Perfect weekend!!!"

"Stayed 2 nights. Property was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Tons of nostalgia in the living room, most comfortable, beautiful chairs ever! I read for hours in there with the stunning lake as a backdrop.Even though this property allows pets you'd never know, not a single animal hair in sight.Hot tub was relaxing and clean. "The property was very clean and very beautiful. The home was very well decorated and had all the amenities we needed plus more! The three bedrooms were big enough for our entire family to have room and the views from the entire house were amazing. This property sits on Lake Martha which was very peaceful and relaxing. "We competed in a dog event in Monroe and needed a larger space than a hotel provides. We messaged with the owner before booking and were allowed to bring our 3 well behaved show dogs. It’s a quiet property and everything is as described. The home is extremely clean and has everything we needed. While the yard is fenced it’s short in a couple areas and our larger dogs need more of a fence to contain them. With the road nearby we just walked them and there was plenty of space to walk. ...

"Lovely home. Several bathrooms. Originally we were going to have about 5 or 6 guests but they backed out so I instead made it a trip for my wife and I and it was such a a nice experience. Upstairs has a laundry chute to pass the dirty clothes to the laundry room. Double sink bathroom was great for us both to get ready for the day and when we came back from a day of adventure. Multiple bathrooms. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower was a nice touch."
