"Great quiet location and reasonable walk to the city centre. Great access down to the river and woodland walks around the area of the flat. There is a Sainsbury's local a short walk away. The flat is nestled in the trees and we heard then saw two owls early one morning, a lovely bonus. The flat is clean, warm and cosy, it would be helpful to have a few extra things like proper oven gloves a little more crockery (only 4 of each). Two of the dining chairs had very wobbly legs so we didn't sit on...

"Brilliant communication from the host. Immaculate house in a quiet residential street. Had a driveway which fit our two cars comfortably. The house itself was beautiful. Stunning decor and attention to detail. Modern appliances and everything you need. Beds were super comfy with soft linen. The location was great as shops and retail park just a few minutes drive away, Durham was approx ten mins by car. The welcome booklet was so detailed it helped us lots. Would absolutely come stay here again,...

"Kitchen was very sparsely equipped. Sofa in lounge was saggy and not comfortable to sit on. The water in the shower was very unpredictable as to temperature. "Fabulous house for large groups. Very well equipped. Would definitely recommend.Only negative was the house wasn’t very warm despite the heating being on full, however, we did stay at one of the coldest times of the year with frost outside.Another point to note, take extra care when using the hot tub at night as the lighting to get to it from the house is poor"
