Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days) Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments" Staff were very friendly and cheerful"

"We had a fabulous time. Great communication and welcome from owners. The apartment was beautiful, the decor, the outlook from sitting room window, with all the trees and birds. Kitchen was really well equipped and lovely touch of a cake, buscuits, milk, water and soft drinks. Beautiful products in bathroom and super comfy bed. We will definitely be back in the future. "

"The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. "This is the second time we've stayed in Jasmine Cottage. It's the perfect size for a family of three and has everything you need to feel at home. It's decorated to a high standard and the animal theme in each room is a fun touch. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, which is a bonus. The cottages are set in a very peaceful location in Marldon, which is only a short drive from bustling Paignton. There's so much to do in the local area and something for everyone. We had a lovely time."

"Do not stay here if you're a little on the large size (over size 18?) or shorter than 6ft tall. "We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village."

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."
