""Great for a female solo traveller I took myself off to Devon for a well needed solo break." The Loft was cosy and clean. I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. The loft itself has lovely skylights that you can see so many stars from on a clear night. Good facilities and the wifi didn't fail me either as I needed to work from my laptop during the time I stayed. You have to visit The Ring Feeder...

"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. The new wooden wardrobe in that room is currently unusable due to a strong musty smell. Aside from this, the barn is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. "A last minute stay was made so comfortable in Adam’s cabin. Quite, warm, spotlessly clean in a location that made walking to see my daughter and access to the town centre so easy.
