"Great location in a quiet neighborhood and right on the Rock River! Tanzie was a great host. Pretty much everything we needed we found was already there! Great location very close to several state parks and nature preserves. If you enjoy nature, this is a great spot to stay. Close to everything!"

"I stayed here for two nights on a girls getaway with my Mom, my Aunt and my teenage daughter. Derinda is a short but beautiful 20 minutes southeast from all the shopping and activities in Galena, nestled in the woods. Very peaceful, with room to relax and a local brewery with tasty offerings. The breakfasts were excellent and Sandy even called before we arrived to check for any food allergies! We would definitely stay here again."

"We generally rent homes when traveling as an exec team. We chose this property for its proximity to our plant in Stockton,Il. Where we were able to host a small group for dinner. The location was perfect and the house is very nice. We all were amazed by the view and beautiful sunset. Three of us stay d overnight with great no issues. The amenities are nice and the cottage is well equipped. My only thought is that unless your family the bed/bath setup is not adequate for 6 bedrooms. Simply due...

"Kelly is wonderful. Very kind and understanding. I was concerned that the neighborood on the dock might be a whoop-it-up loud all-night-long kind of party crowd (and I am VERY boring), but everyone was going-out-of-their way charming and kind. Overall - it was lovely. Highly recommend it. Perfect getaway. "

"This little A Frame house made for a wonderful, cozy stay for my husband and I on our second honeymoon! The online pictures didn't do this classy house justice! It was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, good size lot, had everything we could need. Hope to stay here again!"
