"This small cabin by the water was a perfect weekend retreat for our family. The rustic feeling of the cabin and the prime location of the property provided a beautiful experience and an easy trip! Inside the cabin is cozy and clean, outside the property offers great water access. We look forward to future stays and adventures spent canoeing on the Penobscot River!"

"Got there after dark and hit a cell dead zone, so I lost my google maps, texted James and he called me back right away. He stayed on the phone with me until I found the cabin and was inside. So thankful…. Loved the back deck and the 4 poster bed upstairs, the bird feeds were an added delight. The cabin is so spacious and has a great lay out. Felt like home away from home and I wanted for nothing. Thank you James for being an awesome host.Jennifer G :)))"

"It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. This is a get away spot, I recommend, part of which what is not there makes it special. Waldon Pond in a field! I could easly spend a week there doing my writing & a artistic...

"This was our third time staying at this property. We’ve done a winter stay and now 2 summer stays and we’ll be on another next year because we’ve already booked. It is an awesome location, enough rooms for all of us and it’s right on the water so my sister and I can float. (Which is our favorite.) the lake is clean and cool perfect for floating. "We spent our 25th Anniversary in this lovely, relaxing home. Just what we needed to get away from our busy schedules. Perfect locale watching the loons, enjoying coffee on the deck, and not having to worry about leaving our dog at home. The kitchen is well stocked, except no pizza pans but we made it work. The second bathroom was also a bonus!"

"Perfect summer camp had everything we needed to swim, kayaking, grilling, playing with our dog and more. Kitchen was clean and had plenty of the basics. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels. Beds were comfy and plenty of pillows. Lots of firewood too! We will be back! Check in was easy and host responded very quickly with all questions answered."
