"Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again."

The rooms were unkept and extremely small. There was also a smell in the room.
This is not a hotel that I would recommend in the future."

"This was my first stay at the Pickering Casino Resort. I attended a concert at the hotel and decided to stay overnight. It was a great decision. The hotel room was spotless, very spacious and so quiet. The king bed was so comfortable and the pillows just perfect. I will definitely be going back. The concert was really great fun. I don't gamble so the casino was of no interest to me but we did a walk through and it was also spotless. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend...
