The drought has hit this lake a lot since the pictures were taken showing water under the dock. It still worked as a jumping off point for coastal fishing but the water is probably 30 yards from the dock so it did not offer easy fishing near the back yard like we had hoped. Loved, LOVED the house! We enjoyed our stay and the homey feeling it had! Was spacious for our week stay as a family of 3. The Eclectic Hummingbird
This place is perfect for a quiet and peaceful getaway. The surrounding nature is just steps away from the porch where also you can spend the evenings stargazing. The host is incredibly helpful and responsive. Overall, this rental exceeds my expectations and provided a memorable experience.

Lakehouse Birdwatcher Paradise
One of the best VRBOs ever. I felt right at home- there is so much room for a family to do their own thing anywhere in the house or outside without bothering anyone else. Birds chirping everywhere- peaceful and tranquil! Can’t wait to go back!
