"We were impressed with how quiet it was. The staff was great and attentive anytime we had a question. We stayed 7 nights & literally only moved our car two times because everything is so close & we were able to walk everywhere. The private beach at the lake was fantastic. "Alpine Inn and Spa. Recently stayed at Alpine Inn at South Lake Tahoe. The location is across the street from the Harveys (Ceasars) Resort. The price is very affordable. The rooms are clean and neat. They have a pool and hot tub. Parking was plentiful. The management is very kind, knowledgable of the area and accommodating. The hotel offers 5 dollar vouchers for the beach, down the street. You just cannot find a better hotel than the Alpine Inn and Spa. "

"This is an older property, but they are working on fixing it up. Our unit had newer floors (laminate) which was nice. We were not expecting anything fancy for a quick trip and it was absolutely fine. The management was appreciative when I pointed out a couple of things that needed replacing (one of the lightbulbs in the vanity needed to be replaced but it was still plenty bright.
