"I had a wonderful, stress-free visit. My room was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. "The staff were great, the bed was very comfortable and clean and the room was pretty good. The bathroom could use better cleaning - cobwebs in the corners and there was a half used bar of soap in the shower, which was pretty gross. Otherwise it was fairly clean. The real draw to this hotel though is the waterfront. It's right on a lake with beautiful chairs overlooking the lake, picnic tables and a pergola. "This was one of the coolest stays on our honeymoon roadtrip. You really can’t beat it if you’re staying in Halifax. We stayed in the penthouse suite and had a personal hot tub, sauna, double balcony, and breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Beautiful, modern, clean, and affordable for what you get. We highly recommend dinner at Bar Kismet nearby. "
