Quiet, peaceful residential area on the water.

Please note: HOUSE RULES:
Walking on the beach all around the bay is encouraged. However, going off the beach onto any other neighbors private property is strictly forbidden, including any of the neighboring floating docks., Our floating dock is the BLACK one. The neighbors is wood ---that one is off limits.
Digging on ANY beach besides that directly behind our home is strictly forbidden. Clams, & oyster digging only on our beach and only with a legal WA state fishing license. Harvesting anything from any neighboring beaches is strictly forbidden. If fishing and digging is allowed at Penrose State Park or any other public beach, with a valid fishing license, you may dig there.
If you dig on any neighboring beach, or dig anywhere without a valid license, you will be subject to the applicable state fines ($1000-$5000).

These 3 homes in tranquil Lakebay Washington offer relaxing accommodations with excellent water views and 200' of private beach. Come paddle around Von Geldern Cove our little piece of Puget Sound.

Please note we have all guests sign a separate rental agreement outside of AirBnB. Please ask for details prior to booking.

Large circular driveway for the main house and Cottage. Multiple parking spaces in front of and to the sides of the 2nd story apartment (over a storage garage). 50-60 min drive from Sea-Tac Airport.

There IS an additional $75 charge to use the spa. Please be sure this is selected when you make your reservation or we can add it after. If you do NOT want it, just let us know and we will have that locked off.
There is one additional note. We are adding this to the House Rules:
-no food, drink, shampoo or soap of any kind in the spa. If our staff determines that the spa is left in a dirty condition, and the water must be changed, we will be charging an additional $100 on top of the normal spa charge. By using the spa you ARE agreeing to follow this rule and to the additional charge if our staff deems it necessary.

Elegant expansive garden, nice clean property and houses, unique historic architecture, sufficiently furnished kitchens and rooms, walks on beach, one kayak and two paddleboards. It was a great place for a beachside stay.

Wedding Weekend

Absolutely the best place for adventures, relaxing, gathering, and enjoying our friends and family with the best views, beauty, and comfort of the PNW. We loved the 3 homes and its property. I cannot say enough about the beauty of this home and its property. No one wanted to leave, we felt at home and very comfortable there.

The most amazing stay!

We absolutely loved this property!!! It’s stunning. To wake up on the after and have so much space with the three houses made it that much more relaxing. Great Estate!

We had an amazing stay at this property. There was 12 of us for a family reunion/getaway. It housed our 3 families and we each had our own separate units. It rained most days but the large main home with the hot tub had plenty of room for crafts games and hot tubing to keep the 6 kids entertained. Also the main house has an amazing chef kitchen complete with a grill, oven , steamer, 6 burner stove and even a deep fryer. Allowed us to make a feast for dinners. One of the best Vacation rentals I have stayed jn.

Great location

this is such a beautiful property, the bay is great for paddling and kayaking and we saw harbor seals and sea stars and crabs, there is a little orchard that is really fun and plenty of room to spread out.

It's All About the Memories

This was waterfront living at it's best. From the moment we drove onto the property until we "sadly" drove away, we found enchantment with the view and the shoreline. We beachcombed for hours and played pickleball for even more. The kitchen was our gathering place when we weren't out under the grape arbor. Thank you for making a 50th wedding anniversary worth staying together forever :)

Amazing!

We had a family get together for 4 nights and this place was amazing! There were 17 of us including 6 children 7 to 3. We had plenty of room and the property kept the kids and adults fully entertained! The yard is beautiful with plenty of room to run. The beach area was a wonderful place to collect sand dollars and shells. We saw seals, otters, deer, bunnies and got a surprise visit from a pod of 7-8 orca whales! The homes were comfortable (we stayed in all 3 houses) and the facilities were perfect! While we were there our refrigerator in the main house stopped. working. We texted the contact person and the next day we had a handyman come and fix it. The people are amazing to work with and they make sure they do what they can to make sure you have what you need and are comfortable. We will be back sometime for another family gathering. I highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous Property and Surrounding Area

I don't think you fully appreciate the beauty of this property until you are physically there. We rented all 3 of the properties for a small family gathering for my daughter's wedding; we had a total of 14 people including 2 small children. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The property provided a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding. While the Victorian house is the centerpiece and very beautiful, spacious and provides the best views, the cottage and apartment are nice as well. The owners and property managers are so responsive and really want to make sure you enjoy your stay. We also loved the kayaks, pickle ball courts, and the grounds in general.

Incredible, magical experience

I cannot say enough great things about Lakebay! We loved everything about it. The beautiful grounds, the craftsman historic home, the kayaks, the seals, the sunsets, the kitchen! I love everything about this place and will go back again and again.

Beautiful location

We had our church leadership retreat here and it was so wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, with incredible views, and the sports court and kayaks were an added bonus. Each house has its quirks but that’s what you expect when staying in a place that’s 100 years old. The kitchen in the main house (the Victorian) was so spacious and a wonderful hub for us during our stay. Overall I heard over and and over from people staying that it was a great find!

Small covid wedding party.

We had a wonderful weekend wedding event. The property really lends itself to that sort of occasion. The beach, the views and the garden were all wonderful. The kitchen was fun to work with and well stocked. It was disappointing that the main refrigerator was not working properly but we managed. It was a hot weekend and so we appreciated the many fans that were provided for us. We were not in the house very much but it seemed like it would be very comfortable to hang out in! The owner was very prompt in responding to issues. Would stay again for sure!!

The mIn home was beautiful. The home needed work in the bathroom. The water continued to run. Overall the experience was wonderful. The kitchen and dining room in the main house was beautiful.

We did good!

Our annual family gathering and this is house six over the years. It was a perfect place for the 12 of us and then we had a couple of family member stop by. The home flows easily and the kitchen had many cooks in it with plenty of room. It was delightful.

Great for family reunions!

We spent a week here with a large family group. We rented all three homes which provided plenty of space for everyone. The property is beautiful and very quiet. We had three generations, and everyone had a great time. You will need to provide your own drining water. Overall, a 5-star vacation!

Fun place for a large family gathering

Our family of 12 adults and 3 kids had a great get together here. Wonderful kitchen, lots of group spaces, plus places to be quiet by ourselves too. Beautiful setting and very relaxing. The place could benefit from a little more “one the ground” oversight of cleaning and maintenance aspects. We would definitely stay there again.

1st Time Family Reunion for 28 of us!

This was the PERFECT place for our first family reunion with four generations from all around the states with varied personalities. It was a big enough and with such peaceful, gorgeous surroundings to allow together time and alone time for those who needed it. Pickle ball, kayaking, nighttime campfires, gourmet kitchen....all created the perfect environment! Thank you Kathryn and Cindy for creating a memorable time.

Beautiful but dirty

This used to be a once beautiful estate. We recleaned when we arrived bathrooms and floors. Lights were out or non working in numerous rooms. The straw that broke us when 5 children broke out in rashes. After taking them to a Doctor we found out it was a fungus from the hot tub. Wish I could recommend but I can’t. No response from the owner!!! 😔😐

Amazing place on the water, great for a large group!

We stayed at Wisteria Hollow for 2 nights for a staff retreat and had a wonderful time. The houses are great for a large group and the location is beautiful. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, kayaking, the spa, and spending time in the backyard by the water. Kathryn was very helpful and accommodating for our schedule and needs. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Kathryn!

Beautiful place, but needs lots of updates in the house.

We enjoyed our stay because our family is made up of survivors and we make the most out of any situation. The heat did not work in the main house. Though efforts were made by sending out a heating company, they were unable to fix the problem. So, there was never any heat in that house for the weekend. We made the best of it by building fires. I feel we deserve some kind of discount for the inconvenience. The spa also did not work as advertised. And remember, it was cold and snowing on the weekend we stayed. The main house was a gem in it's day and we really enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere. The other two living quarters were much more modern and well kept, except that one of them didn't have a key in the lock box and we had to wait for quite awhile before someone brought one. It's truly a beautiful, peaceful piece of property and I can see the potential for how much fun it could be...but maybe in the summer. As the one who booked the place for my family, I was a bit embarrassed that I didn't do as well as I normally do for our family retreats. We would stay again if we knew that everything worked as advertised.

Large property, perfect for big groups and reunions!

The property is amazing - nestled against the pugent sound. There are tons of activities for all ages within walking distance. Kathryn was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process. Highly recommend!
