Relaxing Getaway

This was a perfect place to relax and refresh for five busy moms and best friends. We loved sitting in the lake all day and laughing by the fire at night. We can’t wait to stay again!

Great getaway!

Beautiful house with a great view of the lake. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Lots of good fishing in the area! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Girls trip 2024

We had a great time- place was right on the water, with a sandy bottom. Was a bit warm, but the fans they provided, was a huge help. Weather was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Check in was easy. Nice kitchen. Very clean space. Bathroom was very clean. It is right near a public park/beach area. We didn't check out the park, but being close to it wasn't bad. No extra noise, etc. We caught fish off the dock. We had a good time.

Summer stay

The lake is quiet and very easy to get your kayaks in/out. Also have access to Lake George close by which is a larger lake. The park located right next to the property can get loud when it’s busy.

Pleasant relaxing stay at the Lake

The house was clean and well apponted. It had everything we needed. Enjoyed the indoor gas fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Used the provided row boat several days.

Restful Week

The weather was perfect - 80s during the day and 60s at night. Enjoyed using the paddleboat, canoe, and rowboat. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything you may need. Only down side of the week was the fish were not biting. Definitely would love to rent again.

Fantastic location!

Was easy to find the property following the directions provided. Had a hard time getting into the lock box but the property/location was fantastic! The surrounding location was beautiful roads to travel around. Stayed with my husband and our 4 kids. The younger ones absolutely loved the sandy shallow private swimming area right outside the cottage. The teens spent most of the week out on the paddle boat. Even talked dad into taking one ride. Everyone really enjoyed fishing. They caught plenty of sun fish and blue gill and a few bass. Shout out to Jackie's airport restaurant they had the best breakfast and dinner we had! We all had a great time.

The cottage was very nice. It was amazingly stocked with amenities anyone could think of. The waterfront was beautiful and peaceful! Just wish it has A/C or ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The canoe and paddle boat were awesome also! There were two boats on the property. I wish we could have used one fir a day! We would gladly pay extra to use them! All and all a very nice time! I’d recommend this cottage to everyone I know!

Fish, Fun and Family Time

This was a lovely cottage that was perfect for myself, my husband and our 2 grown sons. Even though it was a rainy week, we had a great time hanging out, fishing off one of the supplied boats and then cooking together. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were very available and quick to reply to any messages. The park next door was convenient and surprisingly quiet. Relaxing on the deck was peaceful and I looked forward to the daily visits from the pileated woodpeckers. The surrounding towns were conveniently located and held their own charms. We hope to come back again!

Perfect get away!

This was the perfect place for our Mother-Daughters get away! The house was amazingly clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. While we spent very little time indoors, the living area is well sized and the shelves are stocked with books and games to be enjoyed in front of the little fireplace during cooler months. The lake is beautiful, clean and clear making it the perfect view while sipping morning coffee on the deck, and dinner at dusk when the sky reflected its beauty across the water. So peaceful and relaxing! Evening fires outside, near the quiet lake were the perfect way to end the day. We are already making plans to go back next year and highly recommend!!
