"Helpful staff, giving good advice about the lake and the supermarket. The room seems renovated. The bathroom was tiny but clean. The microwave and fridge in the room are a big plus. I booked a room with a fireplace and really liked it. The bed though was old and sinks in, so I had neck pain and didn't sleep well. No nightstands so no place to put our cellphones or personal items. A lightbulb was missing in the bathroom & some lightbulbs are the annoying white light, not warm light. The...

"The location was the only good place about it. The sheets and pillows looked clean but there was hair on pillows and sheets and throughout the room. The shower faucet was very difficult to work, it looked broken I was told to just pull harder. The staff was friendly, but for the price I think I'll look elsewhere to stay. Lots of families and kids around. Be aware of that if you want it looking for a calm place to stay. Smoking was allowed outside and around parking lots. Not fond of it."

"This was a great place. I was suprised how cool it was but when we needed the heater it worked great. I think it would have been nice to have more dishes and cooking utensils in the kitchen, because it was a full kitchen, would have been really nice. We had no paper towels, even though the holder was there with a an empty roll, and almost ran out of toilet paper, but it was comfortable and enjoyable and we would definitely come back."

"Property is run down and in need of repair! There is no s staff on site to assist with check-in or any issues with the property. Very small unit, not suitable for my family of three , my son is 16. The description stated the unit was suitable for sleeping up to four people with bunk beds which were very small. The unit itself looked clean and newly renovated with fresh paint and flooring. However, this unit was meant for two people, or people traveling with a small child under the age of 10."

"Room not ready at check-in time. No hair dryer or iron and ironing board in the room. No chairs or table in the room. Two hangers on the pipe to hang your clothes. A/C would not shut off and sounded like an airplane taking off. The shower was cold water but the sink was only hot water. Will never stay at the Highland Inn again!"

"I stay here often and never really have any major issues. This time there was an issue with the TV and microwave not working but it was resolved. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was decent. Staff is always friendly and helpful."

"I'm not too picky but honestly I was very disappointed of my stay. All the rooms smelled horrible like smoke, even the non-smoking ones. The floor was dirty. And to top it off there was a major leak from the roof inside the restroom to the point were the restroom was not able to be used. I respectfully approached the staff regarding the issue and they couldn't accommodate my family and I to another room and gave me towels to clean the flood inside the restroom. Honestly the worst hotel...

"I really liked the room it was a fair price . The staff was very friendly pool was clean. Unfortunently I had a bad experience with the room next door . There was a couple arguing and banging on the wall at 3 am . I did call service at the front they were very helpful but would definently recommend the hotel manager to place guest 1 room apart I mean it is a pretty big hotel the best thing that can be provided is comfort and quality time for your guest."
