Carpools, Errands, and Fast-Paced blur one into the next. We lose ourselves in the routine of everyday life and forget about what really matters, but eventually IT finds us...a memory of yester years. IT may be a memory of running through the sprinkler, playing ghost in the graveyard, or remembering how simple life used to be. As life moves faster and faster, it gets harder and harder to stop and relish in the little things life has to offer. Why not just go with the flow and let the day unfold as it was meant to be? How about spending a day on the water soaking up the sun or marveling at the new sights and sounds of the world around us? Why not enjoy your next family vacation in this cozy lake home located on beautiful Lake Como where a simple sunrise can be magic. There is something here for everyone in your family. The lake is great for fishing, boating and swimming so don't forget to pack your bathing suit and head to the beach down the road. There is a boat launch at the end of Lake Shore Drive, next to the beach, so feel free to bring any water craft you may have. Our house is cozy and comfortable and decorated in a nautical theme. In addition to the two bedrooms with brand new full sized beds, there's also two very comfortable day beds with trundles and four twin mattresses. You will also find plenty of extra pillows and blankets for those chilly evenings. There's 1 full bathroom, a 42" flat screen tv in the great room with an electric fireplace entertainment center, satellite TV, a Nintendo Wii, a Bluetooth speaker, and plenty of board games to keep the kids busy on that occasional rainy day. In addition to the fire pit, where you can roast marshmellows and make homemade smores, there's also plenty of outside games to keep the family busy including bocce ball, cornhole (bags), and volleyball.The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the accessories to cook up a great meal or you could take advantage of the gas BBQ grill on the deck overlooking the lake and cook outside. If you would rather eat out, 2 blocks west of the house is "DJ's In The Drink" a bar/restaurant that serves food and beverages. A little further down Lake Shore Drive is "Freddie's West End" that serves one of the best Wisconsin Fish Fry's in the area on Friday nights. Across the lake is "Mars Resort", a classic Wisconsin Supper Club that is nestled on the South Shore of Lake Como with amazing sunsets! All three establishments have docks. If you prefer winter months, enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling and ice skating on the lake. It does freeze over during the winter. Alpine Valley and The Grand Geneva Ski Resorts are only a short drive away. It is a 10 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva where there are also a variety of shops and restaurants to chose from. Upon request, there's a highchair available. This home is available to rent monthly and all year round. Maximum amount of guests-8. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Great Getaway

We were very pleased with our stay at bit of heaven at lake Como. You cannot beat the location. The reviews made me book this place in the first place. The host Victoria, thought of everything to make our trip memorable. I would highly recommend this place.

Nice lakeside stay

The house is cozy with reasonable living spaces although the bedrooms and beds are very small. The location is wonderful with its view and nice walking path along the lake. The porch is also a stand out. Some of the amenities noted in the listing were not provided like shampoo and basic kitchen supplies. Unfortunately this wasn’t shared until the day we were arriving so we were unable to plan for it. Otherwise the communication was good, friendly and fast and we had a lovely visit.

My daughter 21st birthday

We were pleased with our stay at bit of heaven at lake Como. You cannot beat the location. They had everything we needed, great view of the water. Very quite and cozy. Mrs bills was easy to contact. I would diffidently come back.

Fabulous Thanksgiving get-away

The house is perfectly located by the lake--even in November. Sunsets were spectacular. We enjoyed biking and walking the path along the lake, too, and love the convenience to do a little shopping in town. The house itself was awesome, too. Lovely dining area and kitchen and the TV viewing for Thanksgiving football couldn't be beat. all perfect.

Weekend getaway

This property is a must! Everything was amazing. The home does not disappoint, from the electric fireplace in the very cozy, comfortable family room to the fire pit outside. The yard is huge for kids to run around or adults to simply enjoy. The deck faces the lake with beautiful views. Large driveway for parking away from the street. Victoria has thought of everything for her guests. Games, crosswords, and toys for the kids. Close to everything, shops, restaurants, bars. Victoria quickly responds to texts if you have any questions. We will definitely go there again.

Quick overnight for a local wedding

Victoria was responsive to all my questions. The house was very nicely decorated and there were beach toys for my young grandkids. The beds were comfy with new linens. The kitchen was small but serviceable. The deck was great to eat dinner on. There were 2 bedrooms with full beds. The room with the extra beds was open to the living room and dining room, not private at all, but it worked for what we needed. This was a comfy stay for our family while attending a local wedding.

Great location and great hosts!

Renting the cabin was an absolute joy. It was clean and in a gorgeous location with easy access to all Lake Geneva has to offer. Communication with hosts was easy and efficient as well-Hope to rent this place again one day!

Lots of space!

My husband and I brought our daughter and toddler granddaughter for a summer getaway. The weather didn’t cooperate so we ended up in the house quite a bit. The living room and middle room were both large open spaces for a toddler to run around and play with the toys we brought. She was too young for use of the Wii provided. Living room has roomy with comfy furniture, patio door out to large deck with a view of the lake and grill. Kitchen is fully equipped. If it hadn’t been so wet, we’d have loved the big yard though we were able to visit the nearby beach a couple times. If you like wildlife, quite a few deer were around the area that seemed unafraid of close onlookers. Local restaurants had good food and good vibes.

Beautiful Lake House

Super clean and comfortable! Beautiful deck and fabulous view of the lake. Close enough to Downtown Lake Geneva but a nice quiet, relaxing place to come back to! Check-in was easy and Victoria is a wonderful host! We would definitely stay here again!!

Everything we needed and more

Our small Sister/ cousins get together was great here. Victoria had provided everything needed and more. The lake view was nice, the kitchen and bathroom had everything plus. Indoor and outdoor spaces were great gathering spots. Washer and dryer wonderful for travelers Parking easy. Nice walking neighborhood. Well organized!

A Bit of Heaven is Right

Loved the home, the location, and the area. Everything was extremely clean, the deck was great, and the firepit was exceptional. Victoria had the place beautiful when we got there, and provided great recommendations for golf and boat rentals. Would stay again! Also, would highly recommend the bar "In The Drink" just 2 blocks away; a very nice little town bar with great people and great food.

Great place to relax and unwind~

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. The name fits the property! The home was so cute and inviting, not to mention very well maintained, clean, organized, and appointed with all the amenities for a relaxing weekend with friends. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we were able to get in a few walks to enjoy the pretty outdoor setting around Lake Como. We would love to come back!

Golf Weekend

We had a great stay at "A Bit of Heaven" for a golf outing weekend in Lake Geneva. We had a group of us that headed to Lake Geneva for a Golf Outing and found this VRBO to be in a perfect location to everything. We really enjoyed the large family room and the firepit. Great place!!

Cozy lakehouse - great location!

We rented the home for a 3 night getaway, couldn't have been happier with our choice! The inside decor is rustic & cozy! The kitchen was well equipped, even has a Keurig with complimentary K-cups. The beds are very comfy. Lots of indoor games available as well as outdoor bags & bocce. We walked to a local restaurant one night, very good food! Our favorite time was on the deck enjoying the lake view! Easy ride to downtown Lake Geneva. Would definitely rent again!

Relaxing, reconnecting, reenergizing

The home is just perfect. It is stocked with anything you may need while staying there from beach stuff, plenty of bath towels, kitchen utensils and basic spices to a first aid kit! Gamess galore for inside and outside, we were never bored! We relaxed, we reconnected away from our busy lives and we left feeling reenergized. The owner was reachable and very responsive and attentive. We cannot wait to return.
