"Along with my siblings and our spouses. We had a wonderful time at this River House! It was beautiful, so clean and had lots of amenities. We enjoyed the covered docks on the river and did lots of fishing. Our suggestion: we are elderly, ages 59 to 75 years. The Queen bedroom had an unsafe doorway entrance that required a giant step over the threshold to leave the room. It was very unsafe at night to go to the bathroom. We were not made aware of this. "

"Awesome house just as advertized!!! The pier was awesome we caught sting rays,drums,gaftop,croakers,alligator gar.Someone had a fish on almost the whole day. We used shrimp and shad we caught with a cast net. Great trip hope we can go back one day."

From the communication with the owner to how beautiful the home is, my stay has been nothing but a dream. My stay here was for work but I cannot wait to return on vacation. "

"There was ten people in our party, but the property could easily accommodate six more. The different sitting areas made it easy to spread around. The lift was very helpful for getting the luggage up. Great place if you want to get away from it all, but still have the comforts of home. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property! It is a cute, comfortable house with all of the amenities that one would need. The beds are comfortable and the tv works off of Roku, which is easy to use. The backyard is fully fenced and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Booking with Latasha is always a pleasure. She is very quick to respond to questions. It is also an easy, close drive to the casinos in the area. We will gladly stay at this property again!"

"This was our 4th stay here. Very convenient location, very adequate for the four adults in the last stay. We especially like it for friends to visit with us while we are I town. And the house reminds me of the house I grew up in. "

"Absolutely loved the space! Everything you need is in the home. Location was wonderful with everything being nearby. Extremely loved the pool with fast drying towels being available. Already planning a future stay here again."

"The house was so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very impressed with this! Beautifully decorated and so clean! Overall this stay in Lake Charles was wonderful, except for losing money in the casino! Lol "

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The property has beautiful live oaks and plenty of wildlife to watch while sitting on the porch. The house had everything we needed, with a Keurig, washer and dryer being the most important amenities for our family. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on. It is a very easy and rather short drive from Lake Charles. We had never stayed on the eastern side of the lake but we enjoyed exploring the area and finding new...
