"The main office was closed we had to go register at room 106. Of all the construction going on, my vehicle ended up with a flat tire. The mattress in my room seemed that it was old and very used up because the middle of it was sunk in. The website for this hotel had pictures that didn’t match the availability. There’s also a discrepancy in the amount charged by the hotel and Expedia."

"Not the cleanest we've stayed at, but tolerable. Fridge was semi-clean...TV remote didn't turn TV on or off & volume control was useless. It blasted or we couldn't hear it at all. No coffee pot, which I didn't read in the reservation. Hall smelled funky. Too much partying outside our window at night. Saving grace...A/C worked great. Staff at desk, friendly when we arrived...not a word as we left... Not worth $200+ a night."

"The building or my room was as basic as it gets. Quite uninviting and unwelcoming - as I said - very basic. You can hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. Shower stream was very weak, but water temp was good - hot. Bathroom door was creaking For 3 night's stay - we asked for room to be cleaned only to get back and was same. Not once was it cleaned. My wife and I were left wondering if this was typical of Tru By Hilton or was it because this was near a college campus?"

"The room was 85F when entering at 11:50PM. With the AC running at full until 2AM the temperature was 79F. Staff could not get the TV remote to work. By 3AM the room was 77F and humid. Call ahead and ask them to turn on the AC or look at a different property"

"Awful smell as you walk in . I wish we could view room before signing agreement. My room had a used feminine product in bathroom trash can. Pubic hair in shower , blood on toilet seat. It was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! Did NOT stay after inspection of room . Immediately checked out!"

"I accidentally booked 2 nights instead of one. The first night I got there I let them know to please cancel the second night. The person at the front desk told me that the check out person could do that for me the next day. I called Expedia right away and told them what happened. They called Econo but the person there said they didn’t have the authority to cancel the second night. The Expedia person said they will message Econo and get back to me. The next day I got an email saying that...
