    Ubicado dentro de la comunidad premiada de 4 estrellas mejor valorada: ¡The Hideout! ¡Nuestra casa está a UN BLOQUE de la playa principal y la piscina! Tenemos una sala de juegos totalmente cargada en el sótano y una gran sala de sol, nuestra casa es el lugar perfecto para que la familia y los amigos disfruten el tiempo juntos y hagan grandes recuerdos en Poconos. A solo 2 horas de Nueva York, venga a disfrutar de los Poconos en nuestra casa amplia y luminosa con capacidad para 12 personas cómodamente.

    No alquilaremos nuestra casa para fiestas HS, fines de semana de graduación o cualquier persona menor de 24 años. La casa no es una casa de fiesta. Nos reuniremos con todos los inquilinos el día del check-in.

    El nivel superior cuenta con un baño completo, un dormitorio con una cama queen size y TV, un segundo dormitorio con 2 juegos de literas (4 camas en total en esta habitación) y un altillo con un futón y TV.

    La planta principal cuenta con un amplio plan de piso abierto con una sala familiar, comedor y cocina, así como un baño completo y un dormitorio con una cama queen. En este piso, también tenemos una terraza acristalada muy grande que cuenta con una zona de estar con TV, mesa de comedor y BARRA DE CAFÉ.

    La planta baja cuenta con la sala de lavandería, ½ baño, dormitorio con una cama de tamaño completo y una gran sala de juegos que cuenta con una mesa de ping pong, futbolín y juegos de baloncesto.

    Nuestra casa cuenta con muchas comodidades para familias, como cochecitos, carros, cunas, pack n play, tronas y muchos juegos y juguetes. También tenemos un monitor de video para bebés disponible, ¡menos que tenga que traer!

    Su estadía de primavera en el Hideout incluye acceso al gimnasio cubierto y a las canchas de tenis, la estación de esquí y la tubería y el trineo gratis en el campo de oro. Hay más opciones de esquí en Poconos que están a solo 35-50 minutos, incluyendo: Elk Mountain, Montage Mountain, Big Bear y Camelback. Hay más instalaciones de deportes de invierno que incluyen alquiler de motos de nieve y vehículos todo terreno. Para la diversión de los adultos, puedes ir a los casinos Mount Airy o Wilkes Barre para jugar, cenar y entretenerte.

Dos (2) complejos deportivos de playas de arena, baloncesto, béisbol, Winter Ski Hill, hay dos (2) piscinas climatizadas (una (1) con Tiki Bar) y cinco (5) lagos, hay playas para nadar. En invierno se ofrece esquí de fondo (en el campo de golf, si el clima lo permite), esquí alpino con telesilla, snowboard, tubos y patinaje sobre hielo. Y muchas actividades como 6 parques infantiles en un centro deportivo cubierto con gimnasio, aeróbicos y centro de arte. Hay millas de caminos privados pintorescos para andar en bicicleta / caminar.

    The Hideout también está convenientemente ubicado a pocos minutos del zoológico, paseos a caballo, paintball, campo de prácticas y un parque acuático. Aproximadamente diez (10) minutos a un parque estatal. Lago Wallenpaupack (EL GRAN LAGO --- sí, es ENORME !!!!) está a 10 minutos y ofrece alquiler de botes / tubos, motos de agua e instalaciones de marina. Estamos a solo 15 minutos de excelentes caminatas en Varden Conservation o Lacawanna Nature Preserve. ¿Qué estás esperando ... sal y explora!

First time and Terrible experience

We picked this house because we were hoping it would be big enough for my family and we could spend the week skiing. It all started at the gatehouse. They a very nasty. Not welcoming at all. Was greeted with an attitude. WiFi wasn’t working. Upstairs bathroom no hot water . Bathroom in game room backed up . No heat in basement. No heat in bedroom downstairs. ( they supplied a a space heater) game room was freezing . Enclosed room with ping pong table couldn’t use it was freezing. Wasnt allowed to use the fireplace. Only 2 people a day could ski each day. Even though I was told all 7 of us could ski. We were to stay Saturday to Friday. By Wednesday, we had it. We were so disappointed. Family members slept on the couches and floor bc living room had the heat. Asked property manager for a day refund was denied. Will never rent in the Hideout again . We are all in our 50s and 60s. This house is fine for frat parties ! Not what we were hoping for.

Great family getaway

This is a spacious home that comfortably accommodated our multi generational group. The property was clean and well kept and the property manager was responsive with any communications. The weather did not cooperate as we were hoping for snow and some outdoor fun but we were able to get outside and visit the lake nonetheless, which was within a 5 minute walk. We made full use of the attached family room where playing games, ping pong, watching TV could be done with plenty of space. Various sleeping spaces and three bathrooms contributed greatly to making this a comfortable stay for our large group. Kitchen was very well equipped.

Family Getaway

This was our first time renting from a private owner. House could have been a little cleaner. Had a few issues with the tv,s and they forgot to turn the water on so we had no water at first but overall we did have a great time.

Spacious home in a great location

Stayed here with friends for Columbus Day weekend. House was well kept and clean and kitchen was stocked with everything needed. We had 5 teenagers with us and I chose this house due to the game room level. But wouldn’t you know it the kids all decided to stay upstairs in the bunk bed room and loft area. They brought their video game console and were quite content. We enjoyed the multi season sunroom and played board games out there at night. The location of the house is good, close to the lake and beach area. Overall is was a great weekend away.

Family Get Together

Overall, Jami's house was spacious and fit our family of 7 perfectly. It was a cozy stay and had just what we needed entertainment-wise. Candace, the property manager, was quick to respond, which is always a plus! This is my first VRBO experience as I typically use Airbnb, and I'm not sure if it's a VRBO thing or the fact that the property was located in a private community (or a combination of both), but there were a LOT of rules that almost made the stay feel uncomfortable. Examples of this include signing a 13-page contract before our stay and a massive book of rules that had mentions of charging us extra fees if so-and-so happened. I totally understand that rules are necessary, especially as we're staying in someone's home (I have stayed in 20+ different Airbnbs myself), but it seemed that extra fees were reiterated too many times, making us feel like we needed to tip-toe around during our stay. Another bummer was that no cleaning products were provided, such as paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dish soap and cleaning supplies. I completely understand not providing linens and bath towels given that we're in a pandemic, but I think that cleaning supplies are even more of a necessity now than ever. It was definitely an extra hassle to have to make trips to the supermarket to get things that we thought we didn't have to bring from home, as it wasn't stated in the welcome documents. All in all, if you're ok with dealing with all of the above, I'd definitely recommend booking Jami's house. But for me, I feel like paying almost $300/night should not come with the additional stress of having to bring so many things from home.

Great House!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and spacious. We had four adults and four kids with our group and there was plenty of space and activities for everyone. The walk to the beach was super short and the Hideout has great amenities! We’d stay here again.

Family Vacation

Our experience at Lakella was excellent. The location is perfect with many amenities. The house is very clean and has everything you could possibly need - especially for a family with young kids. We had a small plumbing issue, and Jami took care of it right away. We'd certainly consider staying here again.

Great summer vacation

We were a group of 12 who enjoyed boating on Lake Wallenpaupack and nights around the campfire. Game room was great for the 6 kids in our group. Sunporch was awesome for card and game playing too! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice

Had a nice week long stay. The home is close to the pool and beach, however the pool was closed because of COVID. Overall the home and community was very nice. Enjoyed our stay

Great family vacation spot

Very spacious, kid friendly home. Very close to pool and beach Owner very responsive to any concerns we had We enjoyed our stay. Kids really liked making s’mores out in front yard over fire pit. We even had the neighbor deer wandering by the kids loved it !

Our 2019 Stay at Lakella

Property was as described. Great location. Owners were very responsive to our communications. We enjoyed the home and its amenities very much. Only mild criticism was that some of the bed mattresses were so firm that a couple of our family members reverted to air mattresses.

Location location location

Great Lake getaway and great house. Clean, convenient, cute, this house had it all. Our family especially liked the proximity to the community pool and beach. Also the game room was a big hit. Owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. Great house for exploring Lake Wallenpaupuck area and poconos. Thanks for your hospitality!

We loved our week at Lakella near Lake Ariel

The lake house was perfect for our family of six adults and four children (ages 2 months, 13 months, 3 Years, and 5 years. The three levels offered plenty of privacy. The first level offered a nice game room and the toys inside and out were a great hit! We ate all of meals at the house and found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen. The beach and pool were just across the street and easy walking distance for the children. Thank you do much for sharing your house with us!
