Llac La Torrecilla

The property needs to be updated and better maintained. It is not like any of the other Fairmont properties that we have stayed in. On our first day the power kept flickering on and off. In side of the elevators were severely worn and there was a maintenance person working on one of the elevators. Additionally, we paid an additional fee to upgrade our room to an ocean view. However, the room we received had an issue with the toilet and we suspected that there was a leak in the shower because there was severe damage to the bottom wooden area of the shower and the bathroom door where the corners connected. Additionally, in our last night, there was a private party that reserved the entire lobby, lounge and bar areas that we were unable to access. The party guests were loud, drunk and inconsiderate. We had to show our room key to the staff that were posted in the perimeter of the entrance and lobby areas and needed to fight our way through the crowds of intoxicated party guests to get to the casino and elevators. It was an incredibly awkward and disappointing experience and we were unable to utilize these spaces that are normally allowed for paying hotel guests! Also, the food was terrible at all of the restaurants that we visited with the exception of the Meat Market. However, the customer service of the reservation hosts was not very good. They were rude to customers calling to make reservations and although we had a reservation they made us wait for 30 minutes before seating
