One-bedroom apartment with double bed, fitted wardrobe and a fantastic balcony with fabulous east-facing views, table, chairs and a grill allow for great alfresco dining; a bathroom, kitchen and a common room with a small balcony facing west.

FREE PARKING:
You can park on a small road next to the apartment. Usually there is always place to park, don't worry!

IMPORTANT:
Since 2015, Portugal has enforced a longstanding law that requires anyone who offers paid holiday accommodation to record the entry, departure and identification details of all non-Portuguese citizens using such accommodation. This law came into force in Portugal and most other EU countries sometime since the gradual implementation of the 1990 Schengen Agreement, which aims to prevent trafficking in human beings and other illegal practices. In this case, it is specifically Article 45 of the Schengen Agreement and the recent law on local accommodation in Portugal which has made this rule clearer.
For this reason, all guests of all bookings need to provide their passports so that we may have the necessary information.

The apartment has free WIFI but you can also have access to 4G Mobile Wi-Fi (for when not in the apartment) available for € 10 for bookings up to 7 days; 15 € plus 7 days (Internet sharing up to 6 users / devices) Internet connection wherever you go (Losing or breaking Mobile Wi-Fi entails payment of 70 €)

From November to April inclusive, an extra energy charge of € 15 per week will be charged

Monthly Rentals: Between November and end of February stays of 30 days or more (Low Season Monthly rate) DOES NOT include maid service or laundry, it will always be considered an optional extra service, which costs 25 € per week per week. both

We spent a full month in this lovely Praia da Luz apartment, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The space has such a warm, welcoming feel—bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a longer stay. We loved waking up and being just a short stroll from the beach, cafés, and everything Luz has to offer.The location couldn’t be better: close enough to enjoy the coastline every day, but tucked just far enough up the hill to feel peaceful and relaxed. It truly became our little home base in the Algarve.After a month here, we left feeling refreshed and grateful. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-located place in Luz.

The property was wonderful, fantastic views from the balcony, which is lovely and shaded in the afternoon (perfect for us!) It really is just a 2 minute walk down to the beach, where there are lots of places to eat and drink - all of which are lovely. The apartment is equipped with anything you need, the airconditioning is fantastic on hot days. There is an easy commute to local supermarkets, with sone local shops in easy walking distance, qnd larfer ones just a short drive away in Lagos itself. Thabk you Maria for a wonderful stay!

Sauberkeit lässt zu wüschen übrig

Bei Ankunft war die Wohnung nicht komplett gereinigt, obwohl ausreichend Zeit vorhanden war. Die Terrasse war überhaupt nicht gereinigt, der Grill war nicht zu nutzen, da vom Vorgänger noch die verbrauchte Kohle vorhanden war, der Rost muss unbedingt ausgetauscht werden. In der Küche war der Backofen wegen Verschmutzung nicht nutzbar, dieser sollte auch gewechselt werden. Der Wasserkocher war verkalkt. Die Kühl-Gefrier-Kombination ist abgehalftert. Das Badezimmer bedarf einer Überholung. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig. Alles in allem haben wir uns mehr erhofft, darum werden wir die Wohnung nicht weiterempfehlen.

Perfect apartment!

Maria’s apartment was delightful and lived up to all our expectations! It was very well equipped and very comfortable, especially the bed and the amazing hanging chair on the balcony! The location couldn’t be better - so close to the beach, in a quiet street (at night), and a short walk to the bus stop / supermarket etc. Communication with Maria was fantastic - she is super friendly and helpful and always very quick to respond to any queries.The only suggestion we would make would be (if feasible) to have a coded “key safe” outside the front door, rather than having to get the bus to Lagos to collect the key. All in all, a fantastic holiday! Thank you!

Great location, BUT!!

The location was perfect! But everything in the apartment was DAMP. Including the pillows, the mattress, the area rugs (which really needed a cleaning). The A/C didn’t work, and we were told a tech would get there 3dayd later. The A/C. Could have helped dry out the apartment….there are also stone stairs to the apartment, with no hand rail. Slick in the damp…also, the arm to the loveseat was broken with a basket pushed up against it to try to hide it. But we Zloved the town!!

Lovely Luz

My husband and I love the small town vibe of Luz. We have never been to Portugal and feel lucky to have picked Luz for our spot to stay. Our GPS did have difficulty directing us with the turns but once we found the apartment we had no trouble parking on the street. The flat is an easy walk to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. It is a perfect place for couples. Maria was a great host and all her instructions were helpful. Carla was easily contacted through WhatsApp. and she responded quickly to our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Great Location & Communication

We had a 3 month stay at this property and couldn’t have picked a better location. The apartment was a block and a half from the beach, multiple restaurants and the promenade which we walked every single day. We love the city of Luz, it is just the right size for our laidback stay and Lagos is just a 30 minute bus ride or 10 minute Uber ride away. Also, we did the walk to Lagos twice and it is not to be missed! Our host Maria could not have been nicer or easier to deal with - she responded to our every question super promptly. Thanks again Maria, you’re the best!

Rua Praia Luz

Our only regret was we had to leave. Obviously we select a rental by its attractiveness but as travelers, our next most valued criteria is responsiveness by the owner. Maria is the best at this we've experienced. Our local contacts, Marcela, Marcia and Sonia were also top notch. The hospitality was outstanding, from the wonderful welcoming package to the parting Easter cake - we felt like part of the family. The apartment was just as excellent. It had all the amenities one could ask for. The back balcony with a great view of the cliffs protecting the bay of Luz and also overlooking the ocean was great with the morning sun, while the front balcony was nice for the evening sun and just to admire the view down to the beach. The beach with all its wonderful bistros is just minutes away. Added to all of this is the town and beach of Luz which is a total gem. If you're a beach person, a surfer, or a hiker, or just like the ambience of the local restaurants, Luz has it all. We loved it. John & Mary Lou, Canada

Great location amongst the locals. Apartment had amazing views of the beach from the patio. The bus stop was at the end of the street and 2 grocery stores within a few minutes walk. The apartment had the portuguese flair and was cozy.

Exceeding expectations!

I cannot imagine a more perfect holiday stay. Maria, the hostess, provided a beautifully decorated and immaculately clean accommodation just a block up from the seashore and esplanade. The view from the patio, as well as the balcony, were both fabulous over looking the sea & providing great vantage points to admire gorgeous sunrises as well as sunsets. This accommodation was centrally located and everything in Praia da Luz was within walking distance. The apartment was fully equipped with everything one could need for a comfortable stay! You would be fortunate to find availability at this lovely seaside location. Maria is most definitely a 5 star hostess!

We spent 4 wonderful nights and nothing about our stay was disappointing. The apartment and accommodations were amazing and everything was first class as advertised. The outside balcony with ocean views and evening breezes was everything we could have hoped for.

Fabuleux!

Tout est parfait! L'appartement est grand, propre, une magnifique terrasse et à un coin de rue du bord de l eau. Petite ville pleine de charme et tout près de Lagos. Je recommande fortement.

Great Apartment in Great little town

We had a really good stay at this location. The apartment is in a great location, only 1 block up from the beach. It is well stocked with kitchen supplies and all you should need. The deck is spacious and a nice place for morning coffee or evening happy hour. The owner keeps in regular contact and helpful when needed. We would stay here again or recommend it to friends.
