"The lobby was really pretty and the room was updated. The rest of the exterior of the building is really shabby and there was a homeless person living in the parking lot, albeit she was very nice. I understand that improvements are very expensive and they take time but it was quite noticeable that the building needed some love. The to go breakfast provided in the lobby was very nice."

"I had booked a stay for the weekend of May 15-17, 2026 and upon arriving I was shocked. The front door lock to the unit 14835 B was broken and didnt sit right on the door. Then I enetered my room which had paint missing on some of the walls and had an unpleasent smell coming from who knows where. Safe to say I left as soon as 5 minutes from stepping in. "The motel is completely remodeled very nice interiors. Not necessarily a lot of little extra no coffee maker not lots of soaps, etc. but you don’t miss it because the interior remodel is very nice. Everything white modern sinks bathrooms all nicely remodeled clean safe very centrally located to Van Nuys. Sherman Oaks is the access the new parking in the back. And very affordable."
