Laboe is a place for seafarers, because the Ostseebad is located directly on the Kiel Bay, one of the most frequented waterways in Europe. Daily, container ships, ferry boats, sailors, frigates pass by. In the summer months, you can also watch submarines and the proud crusaders, as they embark on the great voyage into the Baltic region or the Norwegian fjords.
The beach of Laboe is about 2 km long, 50 m wide, white, softly fine sand and the shore zones are extremely flat. Only after about 30m the water becomes deeper than a meter and in some places you can wade nearly 100m into the fjord direction of the fairway.
On the beach there are several children's playgrounds. Directly in front of the seawater pool not only the non-smoking beach but also a beach with volleyball, trampoline and electric skoters.
The promenade is lined with many restaurants, small shops and cafes. Fresh fish from the cutter are offered daily at the port, and there are delicious, fresh fish rolls in the fish kitchen. The Baltic Sea resort Laboe promises active holiday fun. Situated directly on the Kiel Fjord, Laboe offers young and old alike. Especially for children, the fine sand beach and the wide sandbanks situated on the beach are a very special event. You can bathe in shallow water and build your heart with the white sand castles. And when it 's colder, the seawater swimming pool provides a great alternative.
A special highlight is the picturesque yacht and fishing port. Here you can buy fresh fish directly from the fishing boats, or take the ferry boat to the state capital Kiel. Particularly worth seeing are the submarine U 995, the naval memorial and the marine biological station in the 42nd century. Natural experience in Laboe.
With its wide range of games, sports and fun, Laboe offers unforgettable holidays for the whole family. To Laboe it is about 15 km from Schönberg along the B502 direction Kiel. From a distance you can see the naval memorial, which you should definitely visit.

For your holidays in Laboe we offer you our cozy and tastefully furnished apartments. We attach great importance to comfort and a refined ambience, the apartments all have a large balcony or terrace. All our apartments have been awarded 3 stars. The house is situated in an excellent location above the beautiful spa park only 300m from the beach promenade and the kilometer-long east beach of Laboes. The fine sand beach with shallow water zones offers children an ideal bathing paradise. It is also only a few minutes' walk to the Labo harbor and to the seawater swimming pool which you can use daily. The wonderful view of the Kiel Fjord will inspire you in your holiday. Your bicycles can be safely stored with us. An in-house car park for your car and a bicycle rental are available. We rent all year!
