"Very nice place! It was so quiet and peaceful…it’s basically on a private road with almost no traffic. The house is as described, with several modern updates with guests in mind. Excellent communication with host. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The screened deck is awesome!"

They had coffee, creamer, and sugar, hangers in the closet. Maybe that's normal for houses on here but it was nice change. Checking in was very easy. We even forgot something and Gary agreed to ship it back to us! "

"Very clean and charming cottage with a view of Lake Barkley. Easy to find and good location. Marina was only 10-15min drive. Beautiful screen porch with lots of space for relaxing and watching the boats go by. "

"This house is fabulous.. well kept and many amenities. The pool was great and we would definitely book again. The owner was helpful and can’t say enough good things about it. Hope to return again."

"The property was wonderfully located, both in relation to highways to activities and to kayaks out into the Lake. Beds and rooms were well furnished, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of entertainment options for the whole family on-site. Kitchen well equipped. We loved our stay! Would definitely book again if we’re looking in the area. "

"The host are very nice and easy to communicate with. The cabin is super cozy and in a great location! We will definitely stay in one of their cabins again! There is so much to do in the area we were busy the whole time."

"Amazing and beautiful place to stay for the week and the ease of access to the water via the floating slip, behind the house was my family’s favorite part, if we aren’t counting the gorgeous sunrise and sunset skies clearly visible from any position inside or outside the rear of the cabin. If I had to identify an issue all I could think of would be the time of year we chose (late September) according to multiple locals a minority of boat rentals or water based recreational activities close after...

"PROS: Exactly as pictured. It’s in an older neighborhood felt very safe. It’s been remodeled probably in the last four years inside. All the appliances work. washer &dryer in the garage was very convenient. FYI agitator goes few seconds before the water starts filling up. Bring soap & dryer sheets. Nice little house for up to 6 people to stay comfortable. CONS: There were one or two ants each day in the kitchen and bathroom. garage door does not open to put your car in. shower curtain liner...
