"We had a blast at Magnolia beach! Lots of fishing at chocolate bayou, magnolia beach fishing marina, and the port lavaca pier! Even whent swimming at the port lavaca community pool! Tonjas house is amazing, and neighbor Judy is such a doll! It was a great place to stay and a wonderful home base while we were down there having fun! Will definitely book this house again in the future!"

"Just love this spot. The water was right outside the screened porch. Got to fish whenever we wanted. The marina is about 12 minutes away: bair and apparently a great restaurant. Didn't get to try the restaurant. The people around were so friendly. The dolphins put on a show on two different days. The house had everything you could just about need. The screened in porch was everything! We got to hang out at night with no bug issues. Many mentioned mosquitos in the visitor book, but luckily for us...

"This was a nice quiet area next to the water and was a very nice area to spend the weekend. My wife and I spent our 35th anniversary here and it was very nice and relaxing. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to relax for the weekend. Lots of birds flying around. Loved seeing the wildlife and the water. The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies. "

"We really enjoy staying here. It is close to our family, peaceful and refreshing. It accompanied us with what we needed for the weekend. The owner is amazing to deal with! Quick to respond and solve problems. (There weren't any problems that were major, just a confusion on the check in code) Definitely a gem that is private!!!"

"A charming cottage for a weekend adventure. Quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes from public fishing piers. The only thing missing was a long pier over the canal... perhaps the owners will build one someday :) The house is clean, spacious, and well-maintained."
