"Wat een heerlijke plek was dit. Zoveel rust en ruimte, middenin de natuur en omringd door allerlei bosdieren. Het huisje zelf is meer dan comfortabel, superschoon en netjes en voorzien van alle gemakken. De goedgevulde groentetuin maakte het helemaal af. De eigenaren zijn hele hartelijke en vriendelijke mensen, die ons een warm welkom hebben gegeven en verwend hebben met allerlei lekkernijen. "We stayed at Walnut Lodge from 22nd to 29th July 2025 while attending a wedding at a nearby château just 5 minutes away—and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. "We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday staying for two weeks in this lovely gite. The property is beautifully restored and has everything needed for comfortable living. "This is a fantastic gite for total relaxation. It’s spacious, clean and well equipped. Our hosts, Sarah and Steve, were so welcoming, and nearby if needed. Our favourite part was the pool. It’s beautifully maintained and the solar cover very efficient so even on cooler days the water is warm. The view of sunflower fields was the cherry on the cake. Thank you Sarah and Steve!"
