The complex is technically in the second row in front of the beach, but there’s nothing in front except the little path through the ice plant-covered dune, so it’s slightly set back from the beach and feels very private. "We had a wonderful time at Casa Bella. David, the host, called us before we arrived to let us know the latest news on border crossings and the best driving route to La Mision. "Lost running water on second day. Host was responsive to getting it fixed, but still very annoying. Listing contained false advertising. Claimed to have a “jacuzzi” but it was not hot water, just a small circular pool, and the picture of the complex was a different Plaza Del Mar complex from the one we stayed in.
