From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. When we informed them that our room hadn’t been cleaned in two days and we had no towels, they showed zero concern or urgency. We were forced to use pool towels from downstairs just to have something in the room.
There were numerous hidden fees that were never clearly disclosed. Despite my Expedia receipt stating that the resort fee was already paid, the front desk presented a piece of paper with fine print claiming the “resort fee must be paid at the hotel.” It felt intentionally deceptive.
To make matters worse, on the first night of our stay, there was a fire (or possibly just a drill) around 7 or 8 PM. We were told to evacuate, but no one followed up to explain what was happening, how long it would last, or even if it was safe to return. We received no communication from hotel management at all.
I had to go to the front desk myself to request a discount on the resort fee and parking due to the disruption and lack of sleep that night—but they still refused to refund the night's stay.
This was by far the most disappointing and frustrating “resort” experience we've had. The only positives were that the hotel was clean, seemed safe, and had a decent view—but that’s not nearly enough to make up for the rest.
