"Communal Gîte" set up in an authentic, traditional 19th century Bresse farmhouse, completely renovated, nestled on the edge of fields, in the heart of a small, typical village. Nestled in the heart of the gentle Bresse Louhannaise countryside on the banks of the Sâne, a stone's throw from its confluence with the Seille (classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rare ecosystems) close to the Saône, bordered by a vast wild forest sheltering a natural site protected in ZNIEFF for its faunal and floral riches, this peaceful, perfectly preserved and safeguarded village benefits from a soothing landscaped setting of bucolic wooded plains dotted with numerous ponds and rivers, mixing agriculture and nature, and has a natural leisure and relaxation site steeped in Celtic history ("the Domaine des Druides", a place to discover Gallo-Roman remains) laid out on 12 hectares offering a fishing pond, an arboretum as well as a rare and very unusual reconstructed Gallic hut in the heart of the forest ("La Maison Gauloise"), a copy of a chief's home. Celtic from the 1st century as it could be found on the West bank of the Saône. Spacious, comfortable gîte. Warm, rustic country feel, combined with the totally exotic soul of an old rural residence (magnificent period floors in cement tiles, terrazzo & "terrazzo", beams & old original doors). Large covered terrace completed by a large sheltered passageway opening onto a pleasant little garden. Composition: Building comprising 2 gîtes + small communal hall (adjoining), neighboring village hall and small association premises (rarely used). Gas central heating. Gîte on the ground floor: Kitchen-living room, living room-lounge (double sofa bed 140x190cm), 2 bedrooms (double bed 140x190cm + single bed 90x190cm / double bed 140x190cm), bathroom (bathtub), separate toilet. Covered terrace + sheltered passageway + small garden + private parking. Bicycle storage. Shops including supermarket 5.5 km away. Authentic traditional 19th century Bresse farmhouse nestled in the heart of a peaceful little typical village, 5.5 km from the charming market town of Cuisery listed among the very exclusive 8 French "Book Villages" (very many amenities including supermarkets & renowned "Eden Center", educational space dedicated to the environment & biodiversity), crossed by the "Cycloroute71" (Tour of the Saône-et-Loire by bike) & 13 km from Tournus nestled on the banks of the Saône (world-renowned abbey site & river marina / A6 & all amenities on site). In the heart of the Bresse countryside, in the heart of a peaceful landscaped setting combining agriculture and nature, close to the banks of the Sâne and the Seille (classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystems) and various vast wild forests (including the one housing the Truchère Nature Reserve, a remarkable protected ecosystem, a rare mosaic of various natural environments nestled near the Saône-Seille confluence) as well as the wooded foothills of the Massif Sud Bourgogne (rich in a vast network of referenced mountain bike trails, labeled "VTT FFC"). Village très sympathique, proximité de plans d'eau pour la pêche. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé.
