"The staffs are very helpful and nice. The building itself is beautiful and the room is spacious. The location is excellent as it is only 3 mins walk from the Kyoto Station but very quiet! I could easily access to the hotel with luggages! Although it is not walkable distance to the most crowded shopping area, it was around 1500-2000 yen by taking taxi to the shopping area. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Kyoto again!"

"This is a lovely hotel with very clean, comfortable rooms, an excellent Italian restaurant and very friendly staff, but despite the name, it is not very close to Kyoto Station by foot. It is located 600-800m away from the station. Additionally, Kyoto Station is not near the main sights in Kyoto such as the Gion - the Gion-Shijo Station on the Keihan Line and Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Line are much closer."
