You will have free use of all of the Ocean Dunes amenities including 3 outdoor pools, an indoor pool and spa, sauna, fitness center, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and a playground for the children.

All this is just 1.5 miles from the Kure Beach Fishing Pier, and 1 mile from Fort Fisher and the NC aquarium. Historic Downtown Wilmington is a 30-minute drive and Southport is a short ferry crossing away.

The property was a good location with access to pools when needed. Access to the beach was less than 50yds which was convenient hauling chairs and tents. A couple issues were brought up the owners and responses were timely.

Welcome to Hell

Upon arrival, the door was broken. The door did not shut all the way after taking a few steps in you’ll be greeted with roaches and saturated, sticky carpet, and the beautiful smell of urine throughout each room. The two coffee makers provided do not work, the sheets in the master bedroom had stains all over them, and the pillows had a very odd odor, the master bathroom toilet was not clean, nor was the floor & the towels had a mildew smell and there were multiple large pet urine spots that were wet.the tvs don’t work and that was after I went to the store and purchased batteries for the remote remotes. When the person below shut their front door, the front door to this unit opens, and therefore I left early because I did not feel safe.

Get away

My spouse and I enjoyed our trip to Kure Beach. We are on a tight budget so I was very pleased that we had all the conveniences of home with the appliances and ability to use them. The view was remarkable. Nice decor.I would suggest the carpet to be cleaned as there were spots on it. I was happy that this was a smoke free condo. Beds were very comfortable. I could never get the door code to unlock but my spouse didn’t have any problems. Happy that we came and hated to have to go home.

Fantastic Stay!

My husband and I are late 60s and have stayed at many VRBOs but this is by far our favorite place. Property was exactly as described in the listing, communication with owners was a breeze,directions, checking in were all really simple. The location cannot be beat, steps to the ocean, nearby restaurants and places to visit all within an easy drive as well as Fort Fisher car ferry to Southport with another passenger ferry to Bald Head Island. The unit was supplied with starter packs of paper goods, laundry and kitchen soap, a basket of snack bars and coffee pods as well as plenty of baking and cooking utensils. We did not want for any extra items. The unit is extremely clean and very nicely decorated with a great balcony with incredible furniture. The king bed was a dream to sleep on, the sectional sofa was also very comfortable to sit and watch the huge tv or nap on. Plenty of blankets and pillows and everything worked just like you would expect. Absolutely no downsides to this unit or the owners. If all VRBO owners were this kind and conscientious, all renters would be extremely happy.

Great Experience, Great Value

The condo was very clean with a well-supplied kitchen. Other places we have stayed did not have all the kitchen tools and small appliances provided here, which made cooking easy. The owners were fabulously friendly and the views are incredible!
