The Space:

Blum und Foss by Tiny Away is a charming tiny house retreat nestled in Kuitpo, just about an hour’s drive from Adelaide (depending on traffic). The farm stay is perfectly positioned near scenic attractions like Kuitpo Forest and Knott Hill Forest, both offering beautiful walking trails and nature views.



Guests can also explore the nearby Soldiers Memorial and enjoy family-friendly spots such as The Jungle in Willunga—a unique garden shop featuring a whimsical fairy garden and an interactive walking trail with games.



This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is thoughtfully designed for comfort, featuring a queen-sized bed, air conditioning, a kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet and a gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



IMPORTANT NOTE: We have children on the property, so you may occasionally hear some noise. As this is a working farm, there can also be sounds from animals and, at times, machinery such as a tractor or quad bike.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the tiny home and its surroundings, except the area from the shed upwards toward the main house is off-limits.



However, guests are welcome to walk along the track to access the back of the property. All restricted and accessible areas will be clearly signposted for your convenience.



The Neighborhood:

Blum und Foss by Tiny Away is located approximately 55–58 minutes from Adelaide (depending on traffic). Nearby attractions include Kuitpo Forest Reserve for scenic hiking trails and Bells Gully (Prospect Hill) MTB Trail for mountain biking.



The surrounding area offers a range of local food options, including Kangarilla General Store for essentials and light meals, Hersey Wines for a cellar door experience, Pik a Pie Bakery in Meadows for fresh baked goods, and Meadows Mini Mart for takeaway items and basics.



For groceries, guests can visit Willunga General Store or McLaren Vale Foodland for larger supplies. Seasonal produce is also available at the Kuitpo Forest Strawberries roadside stall, which may be cash only.



The region also has a strong local culture, with the weekly Willunga Farmers Market, monthly Meadows Market, Creative Beginnings art experiences, and the annual Fleurieu Folks Festival featuring live music and community events.



Getting Around:

By car:



- Adelaide -46mins drive 42km

- Mclaren Vale -16mins 18km

- Meadows - 7mins 9km



All can be driven to with a 2WD very comfortably.



By public transport:



- From our property to Meadows or Mclaren Vale then they would have to use Didi taxi service as no public transport available.

- If they wanted to go to the city then a taxi service to Seaford train station which is a 25min drive. Then they can catch the train from there straight to the city which will take about an hour.



Other Things to Note:

- No smoking allowed

- Gas BBQ is available

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Good mobile reception, with a few signal dead spots around the farm

- Please note that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
