Villa Buena is a fantastic luxury 6 person villa with high speed internet / wifi. The villa is on a mini resort with a total of 4 villas around a shared swimming pool. The villa has 3 bedrooms with high ceilings with fans and air conditioning. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 or which has a bathroom en suite. There are 2 spacious modern bathrooms. Also a cot and high chair are available.
A modern kitchen with cooking island, equipped with crockery, glassware, cooking utensils, coffee maker and kettle.
There is also a fridge / freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven and microwave.
On the veranda there is a 6 person garden set with a view of the swimming pool. The villa is 200 meters from the Caribbean Sea as the crow flies

Tevreden !!

Het is een fijn appartement, heerlijk het zwembad voor de deur, maar voor ons toch wel iets te ver van kralendijk. Verder waren we erg tevreden. Leuk dat we nog kennis gemaakt hebben met Willen en Barbara !!

Not accurate description

Property was okay, the bedding was stained. Description called out specifically that there was a cot. When we arrived we were told there was no cot. I pulled the the description. The property manager went to another unit and pulled a cot out for us to use. It was awful, I would not let my dog sleep on this thing it had stains and was ripped up. When I talked to the the owner, he was yelling at me, calling me rude and disrespectful because we took pictures of the cot. He said that because it said it included a cot and highchair that it obviously meant it was for a child. We cancelled the rest of our stay and went elsewhere.

Excellent family bungalow

The bungalow offered a great experience for my family. My wife and I, together with three kids, had a very nice time on this property. The beds were good quality boxsprings, the rooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen was equipped with all necessary equipment and air-conditioning was fully functional. Each day the pool offered a welcome refreshment and the water always felt fresh and clean. Although there are four houses on the premises, it never felt crowded. I’ll definitively recommend this bungalow to anyone looking for nice vacation on the beautiful island of Bonaire.

lovely spot

A nice get-a-way location. Facilities were adequate. An improvement would be a fan in the living area. Bedroom fans made "clunky" noises so we did not use them often. Kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. Milly is the local contact and just delightful.

Return visit to Bonaire for diving

The location was ideal for us. Quick drive to Buddy Dive where we used their drive through air service. 4 homes on the property and all tenants were pleasant and respectful. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who happened to be on the island at the same time. Very nice couple and easy to talk with. They asked our opinions on the stay. We had no negative comments. Beds were comfortable, slept well. Would happily return and use their property again.

Nice stay - great for our group of 4

Villa is clean, everything functions and is maintained well. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Modern full functioning kitchen. Location is on a dirt road (ok - away from the main strip), property is at edge of development (ok - especially with the constant breeze.) Neighbours in complex are visible and interactions are inevitable - which I really enjoyed. Swimming pool is nice, well maintained. No special dive gear cleaning facility - tubs, hose, etc. There is an outdoor shower which works. The particular villa had some internet access issues which was a concern for one of our party - so access was available thru another villa on the patio. We had our elderly mum with us, and the accessibility was perfect! level, clean floors, open showers, well- maintained walkway and parking Overall impression - great, and great value. We had good communication with owner and property manager, and they also gave us a great car rental contact

Poorly Managed

Our stay here was a mixed bag. First, the good. The unit itself is new. There is a new & modern dishwasher, oven, and cooktop. There is a good refrigerator, cupboard space, and enough cookware and cutlery. With 3 bedrooms there is plenty of space. The pool, when available, is nice, as long as you are tall/can swim: the depth is a consistent 5ft. It has the makings of the perfect spot. So why 2 stars? We were there for 2 weeks. For the entire duration of the trip, the pool deck was being retiled. While the crew made efforts to make the pool accessible during this period, during the day they were working around the pool, talking loudly on their cell phones, running the tile saw, etc. The owners first claimed that the work would only take a day to complete; then tried to tell us that the work was not continual (it was). The work was still on-going when we left (again, 2 weeks later). The internet stopped working midway through the trip. Our request for someone to look at it was ignored for a day. It wouldn’t have been fixed at all had we not kicked up a fuss, and escalated to the owner. The ad says that the property has a TV - technically correct, but no cable service. You must bring your own streaming service and device. Which also requires working internet. There is a grill - charcoal. No one uses it (we tried, an hour later the grill still wasn’t hot). There is no safe in the unit. There is a house alarm - one key fob so everybody needs to leave together or you need to leave the unit unalarmed. Midway through the trip, the property manager (who had ignored previous requests to replace burnt out light bulbs and fix the internet) came by at 9:30pm and said that the new tenants for the unit next to ours were on a delayed flight, and she had no idea when they would arrive. She then asked if we would take the keys and check in the guests when they arrive. I did not appreciate her asking us to wait up to all hours for her guests and to do her job. Very unprofessional. Later, when the other guests arrived, there was no one to let them in. When I mentioned this to the owner, their only response was to ask if I was going to post a bad review. The condo, if the atmosphere around the pool wasn’t in the middle of construction, would have been excellent. However, the real issue is the poor property management. If any issues arise I wouldn’t have confidence that they would be addressed. I won’t stay here again.
