  • Fig Tree Villa is a traditional stone villa set in an olive grove, surrounded by dry stone walls dating back centuries.
    It is located in the small Dalmatian village of Pupnat, close to the island’s most spectacular bay, Pupnatska Luka and the historic town of Korcula.

    Pupnat, the oldest settlement on the island dating back from Illyrian times has well preserved village architecture and is best known for its bay of Pupnatska Luka, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
    The villa is surrounded by lush pine forests, set in a private tranquil location, yet only a short stroll to the village.
    Pupnat has two reputable restaurants, Konoba Mate (Michelin Guide 2018, 2019) and Pagar (Fresh fish restaurant). The local church, ‘Gospa od Sniga’, dates from the 1620s and is situated in the village square. There is also a grocery store in the village for any essentials.
    The villa itself and the grounds are built in the traditional stone of the region. The in ground pool has a spacious terrace and lounge area.
    There is a further terrace for dining with a large stone barbecue.
    Within the walls of the property the grounds are filled with both olive and fig trees.
    The house has an open plan lounge area and fully equipped kitchen with air conditioning. There are two double bedrooms, one with shower ensuite. Both rooms have remote controlled ceiling fans and the main bathroom has a spacious walk in shower.
    The property has satellite television and excellent wifi throughout.

Gorgeous relaxing week in the hills

Property was fantastic and exactly as described. We had amazing weather so spent most of the time lying by the pool and eating. It's a short hop by car from Korcula town and the setting is amazing. Surrounded by trees so totally private and no mozzies! Our lovely host Rita met us on arrival and was very communicative/responsive throughout

Tranquil stay on a beautiful island

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is thoughtfully and beautifully laid out, spotlessly clean and very private. It was lovely to be able to relax by the pool and look out at the surrounding pine forest. And there were plenty of different (relatively uncrowded) beaches to explore too. It is a short and easy drive into very pretty Korcula town, where there are lots of wonderful restaurants and a lovely harbour which we enjoyed walking along in the evenings. Rita is a great host and went out of her way to help with any questions we had. All in all, would highly recommend.

Haven of tranquility, the perfect spot to relax

Surrounded by an unspoilt vista of lush green trees and providing absolute privacy, this villa was exactly what was needed to unwind. Well stocked with basics to ensure that you do not have to go and buy extras such as condiments etc. ensuring maximum relaxation. The host, Rita, was very relaxed and welcoming and the property did not disappoint in any way. It was comfortable, easy to keep clean and set in fantastic grounds giving it real rustic charm. Sitting by the pool surrounded by trees was idyllic. 10-15 minutes drive into Korcula town with its heritage and many great restaurants was also perfect, close enough to partake but not so close as to be intrusive. Also a great location from which to explore this beautiful island.

Ein Paradies auf Korcula

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Fig Tree Villa sehr genossen. Ein herrliches Grundstück in Pupnat und ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit allem Komfort haben uns eine Woche begleitet. Zudem ist der Pool ist einfach herrlich. Rita ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, der Kontakt war jederzeit problemlos möglich und sie hat sich um alles bestens gekümmert. Fazit: für uns eine Traumvilla mit viel Charme und Privatsphäre in einem schönen Dorf auf der herrlichen Insel Korcula. Wir kommen hoffentlich bald wieder …

Tolle Lage. Wir haben alles genossen, den Pool, den nahen Strand, den Garten mit Kräutern, Gemüse und Früchten, den Grill. Danke an Rita! Tolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat sich immer sofort um alles gekümmert. Verbesserungsvorschlag: Die Betten könnten etwas bequemer sein.

Traumurlaub

Es war ein wundervoller Urlaub auf einer schönen ruhigen Insel mit traumhaften Badestränden und Badebuchten. Die Villa war perfekt, der eigene Pool und Garten hervorragend zum entspannen und chillen 😬😎. Und zur Person der Vermieterin (Rita): Sie tut alles und ist stets zu Diensten, damit man einen angenehmen, unkomplizierten und wunderschönen Urlaub hat. Insbesondere beantwortet sie sämtliche Fragen 😉 und hat immer einen guten Rat/Tipp. Sogar die Vereinbarung eines Antigentests für unsere Tochter hat sie übernommen, als wir nicht weiter kamen. Wir waren alle sehr traurig, als wir nach 14 wunderschönen Urlaubstagen das Haus verlassen mussten. Wir können die Villa, die Umgebung und Insel (sowie Rita als Vermieterin) nur wärmstens empfehlen.
