"This property was beautiful, clean, and cozy. It is within walking distance from multiple restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. There is beach access across the street from the property which was really nice and close by to several hiking trails."

"Excellent location to Cal Poly Humboldt. As well as stores and restaurants in McKinleyville. Nice amenities.Very dog friendly, they even had dog poop bags, such a nice touch. We could park in the garage, which we loved. Definitely will stay here again."

"The entire family just loved the stay at your lovely home! If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely want to stay there. I have never been in such a cool house like this one. Unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. Everything was so nice and tidy and lots of amenities. Room for all five of us and two dogs. We really, really loved it!!! Magical was a good word for it."

"I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return."

"Fantastic spot to hang with family and friends. The hosts had everything we could need. Super cute decor, the beds were comfy and cozy, and the shower and bathroom were great. Absolutely amazing view of the night sky. Totally recommend and can’t wait to come back! "

"This was a great location for our Redwood national forest visit. The ocean views were spectacular. It is an older house but is in good condition. We spent a lot if our time in the huge back yard. It was a great place for everyone age 12 to 66."
