Think ahead for food; we arrived on a Sunday in mid-May and all the markets and most of the restaurants were closed. No dining facilities on site and don’t plan on “walking into town”, as it’s about 1.5 km away and it’s a steep uphill on the way back. Communication had challenges. "Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sehr zentral (bezüglich Insel) und gut versteckt, also sehr ruhig. Leider auch kaum auffindbar. Erstes Problem war, dass man mit der Buchung keinen konkreten Namen der Unterkuft erhält, noch eine genaue Adresse. Somit war es erstmal schwierig die Unterkunft zu finden, ist auch überhaupt nicht beschildert. Ohne Hilfe der Einheimischen, überhaupt nicht möglich. Nur ohne Unterkuftsname ist es auch schwierig die nötige Hilfe von Einheimischen zu bekommen. Also das...

"This hotel was incredible. Our room was cleaned and bed made every day, they had such a clean private pool, great sun beds. I had the COLDEST, most satisfying draught beer there with a frosted glass, so amazing on these hot days. The communication with the host was very prompt. Highly, HIGHLY recommend. They also have breakfast AYCE 8am-10am for 10€, great value."

"We had a fabulous stay at the villa. The highlights were the super clear sea and private beach (shared with just 3 other houses); and a great pool, BBQ and dining space. Friends of ours rented the next door villa for the same week and it worked out very well. The house was set out over 3 levels on a hillside (which needed a bit of organising as the kitchen was 20m away from where we typically ate by the BBq and pool). Alexandr was extremely helpful eg suppliying water and arranging taxis etc....

"The property is in a great location, less than 5 mins walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and right by a bus stop. It had a terrace and garden, so it was nice to have outdoor space. Our only issue was that the electricity kept tripping. The owner was very responsive and came the first time it happened, then we just flipped the trip switch back ourselves. You couldn’t run the aircon or hot water with anything else as it kept tripping. Apart from this annoyance, I would recommend...

"Perfect in every way. The accomodation was in a perfect location, opposite the small road to Troulos beach and with a supermarket and bus stop 20 on its doorstep. It was spotlessly clean, modern and airy with everything you could wish for. The owner, manager and house maid were amazing, so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. "A lovely weeks holiday with the family in the most perfect villa. Alexander was a great host that sorted what ever we needed. Perfect for families and adults only. The pool and beach are just incredible and waking up with that view every morning was just perfect. We will be back for sure. "

"This is a beautifully designed suite, just perfect for two. There is a lovely outdoor terrace with a view over the bay and the plunge pool is a bonus at the end of a hot sunny day. There are a few bars and tavernas nearby, whilst the beach and bus stop are only a 5 minute walk giving access to everything that beautiful Island has to offer. The owners are super friendly and will help with tips and advice to make the most of your stay. This was our first visit to Skiathos and sure to be back to...

"We had a fantastic stay at Nature Retreat Skiathos Villa, great villa with all you could need and really good space outside with a lovely pool, seating area and barbecue. Great location in the mountains, very peaceful with lovely scenery, just a short walk to local supermarket, tavernas and the beach. We will be back."
