"Been coming to Sai Kaew Resort for 16 years. It’s a great location with a very competent and friendly staff. There is major construction going on which we were unaware of. They also moved the breakfast buffet from the location next to the beach to another building which has no view. "Beautiful location right on the silky sands of Chao Lao Beach. Amazing sunsets every night. Delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of choices. The area is a bit out of the way if you don't have your own car but it's worth. You can take buses to and from Chanthaburi and taxi from there. You can borrow bicycles for free at the hotel. All of the staff seem to be very nice and helpful but of course not all can speak English. Special shout out to the manager Wiboon, who made everything perfect."
