"Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted. We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture. The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade everything....

"Got exceptionally lucky to book last minute thanks to a very rare cancelation at this amazing place. The superior double with balcony room was perfect. Massive room with a nice large balcony and French doors made it a wonderful place to sit in the evening. Every detail was thought out, including a small citronella candle and lighter on the patio table so you could enjoy an evening having a nice drink enjoying the view and breeze. "This was our favorite overnight stop during our recent trip to Scotland. The location is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and is the perfect place to stay for making day trips to visit all the sights in the Highlands. Our hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome, and our breakfast was perfect -- the best breakfast we had in Scotland. We hope to visit again someday. "

"Such a spacious suite with an additional sitting room viewing the mountains. The views were exceptional. James & Lucy were kind to let us check in early. They were also so helpful with dinner recommendations in the area. Breakfast options were delicious. Lucy was most helpful planning our routes for the next days journey. They were both so kind and full of information."

"What a gem!! I loved my stay at Mingarry Park. My room was clean and spacious and had the private hot tub which was a major plus. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very communicative. I had the most relaxing, restorative stay. And, they have an epic breakfast included which basically filled me up for the entire day. What a find! Totally worth the cost and I would definitely stay there again. "

"I stayed for two nights when booked on the Jacobite Train. One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. I was on my own so stayed in the single room - small but very comfortable and very quiet. The choice for the inclusive breakfast was huge and delicious - it set me up for the day. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maclean Guest House. We were able to easily walk there from the train station and to then walk to the downtown area where all the shops, cafes, etc were located. The room was quite large and exceptionally clean. It had everything we needed and then some! We highly recommend this place and would stay here again without hesitation."

"I've stayed in many B&Bs in my life, and I can confidently say this is one of the best experiences I've had. The place is perfect, spotlessly clean, the hostess welcomed us with charm (and gave excellent advice), and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail is carefully thought out, right down to the binoculars available at the entrance. Too bad I have to cross the ocean to come back!"
