"Located within an historical property with modern conveniences in an excellent location with a beautiful view of the river. Excellent AC'd space and a comfortable bed aided sleep and rest. Parking space was a plus and fit her Jeep Renegade. Very convenient to conference at the Marriott down the hill."

"David's an excellent host and his place is great. I'm reluctant to tell too many people because I feel like it's a hidden gem. I brought my 10-year-old kid to Knoxville for the first time and we used David's place as basecamp for East TN adventures. "The boathouse is in a roof over marina that helped keep the heart down when sitting up on the deck. While many other boats, there wasn't many people coming and going. The inside was clean and efficient as one would expect s large boat to be. We only stayed one night but was very nice and within walking distance from downtown restaurants, etc"

"Very nice spot, a bit noisy on bar nights and with the train tracks next door. Was not an issue for us. The second bed in the common area is a pull down Murphy bed, which was very comfortable and much better than a typical sofa bed. I slept well!"
