"The decor was ye olde memories of yesteryear. Also music. I’m fond of traditional but found it to be tacky and a bit gloomy. The room was tiny and the bathroom cramped. Pleasant to sit in the lounge in front of the fire. We found the restaurant dinner overpriced and the food mediocre. Dishes were different for the sake of being different without regard for taste. Service and wine good. Breakfast ordinary. I was offered scrambled eggs with roast tomato. Don’t understand how other...

"In actual fact the property needs to be bulldozed and replaced. It is a worn out old motel. It was only for one night a bed and a shower in the toilet and that’s all it was good for, the fluorescent light in the bathroom flicked and wouldn’t stay on the smoke detector in the room had been removed. I thought that was an interesting effect. When I asked the motel staff they said I will fix that question. Maybe not. It’s my first and last day there."

"Clean and modern room. Walking distance to all the cafes and restaurants, as well as the light house and blow hole. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the lock up garage was an added bonus."

"Lovely old style Australian Hotel/Pub in the middle of Kiama. Bedrooms were clean, shared bathrooms on second floor in case to need closer access. Staff were very friendly and helpful on check in at the bar. Topped it off with a lovely fish and chips :)"

"Terrible experience First of all this motel is joaned with a resturant and that resturant's guests were very noisy till morning and nobody was there to warn them or do something, also walls and windows were not sound proof and till morning we could hear all noises from other rooms and surrounding streets. Secondly this building is very old and needs a real renovation. You cannot just make money, you need to spend some of that money for renovating the building to bring tourists from Australia...

"We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating. Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. Gale , the receptionist, went into action immediately to...
