"Absolutely loved this property. Very roomy and great location. Cosy and warm. Very pet friendly with secured garden. Views of bay are amazing. Easy access to beach and 5 minute walk. The only thing we wish it had was a cloths airer as weather can be unpredictable at times. Overall we had a great stay. "

"Everything was walkable. Quite a few choices of cafes and restaurants. The people were very friendly. The suite was adorable. And if you like people watching, there is a park across the street that you can sit in your living room chair and watch life going on. Pete was very helpful and accessible. Thanks Pete."

"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"We booked this lovely property to celebrate my mums 60th which was absolutely perfect..as she didn’t want a fuss and somewhere to relax and have some scenery which didn’t disappoint, we arrived slightly earlier than check in time and we were able to check, thanks to Ari! Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely complementary welcome basket with local cider, cheese, oatcakes, shortbread, milk & wood fire, the place is a lot bigger than shown online, downstairs has 2 bedrooms, one bedroom with...

"Cosy, well equipped cottage with a lovely view. Our elderly parents loved that they didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the beach and they could get out for easy walks. With amenities just a few minutes drive away and local to wildlife viewing options this worked well for us. None of us were keen to leave."

"Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before."

"Lovely cottage with loads of room for the family, in a very peaceful location with lots of wilderness to explore right on the doorstep. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be back to what is a very relaxing and refreshing place for a break."
