"Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others."

"Room was clean but there was a mark on the bedding which wasn't too savoury.
We were given the disability room for some reason and that meant that the bathroom sink/mirror were low amongst other things. If we had stayed another night we would have asked to be moved as the hotel wasn't full. The staff were very nice as was the breakfast. "

"On the whole enjoyed our one night stay. Property is lovely and our ground floor room was clean and warm. Only downside was black mold on the shower tray edge but the power shower was awesome.The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the food on offer was of excellent quality and well cooked.goos continental selection.
Overall it is a lovely hotel and we would stay again."

"Historic old building in a beautiful setting. Quirky but relaxing and the outdoor spa is an amazing experience.
Clean comfortable room. No refrigerator though. I was in a newer extension towards the rear of the hotel and the walls were a bit thin. I could hear the extractor fans from the bathrooms around me. But zero traffic noise."
