"Peaceful and serene location in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen is probably the best & most well stocked we've ever seen in a rental. Everything you need, the kitchen has it. Propane grill was easy to use. House has plenty of space to spread out and relax. Plenty of board games if you just want to stay inside. If you like beer, go and check out Callao Brewing Co... a short drive. We will be back! "

"This was a lovely place to stay, with a beautiful outdoor fire place, lovely lake views, and a roomy space. The closest grocery store/other stores are 20 minutes away, so you’ll be getting off the grid. "

"Property has lots of character and charm. We enjoyed the infinity pool, kayaking, crabbing from the dock and daily walks. The property is in a fairly remote location but we found that to be a plus. It was a great place to decompress and enjoy nature. The property owner was very responsive at booking and check-in. The only downsides to the property for us were that you had to walk through one bedroom to get the other bedroom and the WIFI was slow. Outside of that we really enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!"
