Loved hearing the toad and barking tree frogs in the babbling brook every night. Highly recommend for those who prefer peace and quiet in rural settings."

"The bay is directly in the backyard where you can see the sun set each evening from the house. There is a small beach that is sandy during low tide. If you want to wade in the bay, wear water shoes because there is glass that washes in from the bay. Mosquitoes are a problem, but it isn't just here. That's just the Eastern Shore in summer. If it is windy they aren't too bad if you use bug spray. But we didn't spend much time outside and didn't use the fire pit area, although it looked lovely.The...

"Had an enjoyable 4 night stay in this camper with my son. Great communication with property manager who was quick to respond to all of our questions. There are pillows but no sheets, blankets or towels provided. Check-in procedure could be more clearly explained as well as the process for gate access. But overall great place. Will definitely come back. "

"My sister and I have always wanted to visit Smith Island. This house was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable, great location and terrific host. The golf cart was such a huge bonus. We had amazing water tours, walked, relaxed, spotted more birds than we could count. Everyone on the island was beyond friendly. "Our stay was great. How wonderful to come back to a cool and clean home after a HOT day seeing the ponies swim! The only suggestions we have are add some measuring cups to the kitchen and some towel hooks to the bathrooms. Otherwise we had a wonderful time!"

"Took my grandson for a weekend trip to Smith Island to celebrate his HS graduation. My daughter, also, accompanied us, since I am a 90 year old "Grammy", and need some assistance. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. "This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again."

"The place was extremely clean and a great place for our family. The downside was that it was completely empty of staples like salt & pepper etc and far away - 20 minute ride to get those things. Some things that they provided- dishwashing pods did not last for 10 people for our stay. I think it would be great if a few staples were provided."
