Place is a dump. Looks like it closed down and reopened as a refuse center. Room (cabin) was disgustingly run down. Sheets and room smelled so bad we took out loss and left at 2 am

Horrified

The motel room could not have passed a health inspection. There was mold growing on ceiling in bathroom, the linens on beds were suspect. There was no safety chain on door. Walls were thin. People partied on “patio” all night. WiFi was spotty, at best. The office was woefully obsolete. I asked for another set of towels, one bath sheet was brought in. There was 1 facecloth available for 3 people. I can’t say enough about my disappointment in this motel. Reviews on Hotels.com are either made-up or very very out-of-date.

We pulled into the property at around 5:00 p.m. although I would expect the pool to be closed in october, it looked like it had not been functional for a number of years. It was stained with ripped tarps. There were people sitting in lawn chairs out in front of the cannons that looked like they were living there. We drove around the traffic loop and decided we would drive the 3 hours home instead of staying. Obviously we got charged for it anyway

They got the reservation wrong. The price given was wrong. The advertisement was not what i saw when i reserved. The heater didn't work., 45 degrees! It was horrible. I was told I couldn't cancel. People were living there before us. Left lighter and other things on a table. Pool was covered in algae. Toys and pool hadn't been used for a long time. I have pictures and i am going to my bank and show them my pictures and the picture on net. This constitutes fraud. I couldn't cancel, but when l asked him the owner said i could if i went through him. Very confusing.

It kills me to write this review because the proprietor/staff was so accomodating and checked us in late in the evening after 12pm...They were so nice and understandibg of us being late,we had been driving a long distancr and needed to rest.Howevet upon arriving to the room it was lets just say, it was not the Wyndham... It was late and we needed to sleep but my friend was panicking over bringing his luggage into the room... let me be clear. We did not see one Roach period. However there were Roach Traps. My friend unfortunately has a super phobia with roaches like crazy.needlesd to say i had to eat the 100+ dollars and we kindly dropped of the keys and slept in a nearby service area on the highway. It PROBABLY would have been fine but bettwr safe than bringing roaches or God knows what else back to his sisters house.

thanks for the help!

Needed a few nights to crash while waiting on car repairs, this spot fit our budget and is definitely a no-frills location. meaning the fixtures were a little worn out- but the sheets were clean and the water was hot. It suited our needs just fine. special thanks to the gentleman at the front desk that helped us jump our rental car when the battery died. He wasnt able to jump us with his battery pack, but he kindly put us in touch with another guest (thanks Louis!) who helped us with his own vehicle. Overall we are so grateful for a safe place to crash and that everything worked out.

An okay place to stay for a night. The room was comfortable but definitely looked like it had received minimal upkeep over the years. The shower water smelled a bit sulfuric and wouldn’t stay warm/hot. It was fine just for one night but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer since the amenities were a bit lacking, which is not too surprising given it is a small motel in the mountains. One plus is the property manager was very kind and welcoming.

Not worth the money

We were very disappointed. The room was not very clean, dust on floor, plastic shower curtain all discolored, no tissues, only 1 light (of 3) worked over the sink. However, the water was warm, the bed was comfortable & it had a fridge & a microwave. We made it work but will never stay there again.

Dirty. Old worn out furniture. The towels are not washed. The Wi-Fi wasn't working. We slept dressed, and it was unpleasant to undress.

there was no plastic cups for us to use to take our medication. No glasses at all. There was no mat to stand on getting out of shower. Tub could have been cleaned better.(found long hairs in tub/not ours.) Overall the room was very sparse with any thing (such as tissues , towels Bed was comfortable and TV accomidated a lot of choices to watch.

I'm not giving it one star because the place met my expectations, which were quite low at the outset. The cottage was of mid-century design that is badly in need of renovation (broken fixtures, uncovered electrical outlets, mold/mildew growth in the bathroom). It was a non-smoking room, but clearly people were smoking there. I think the place was emblematic of the Catskills as an area that once was a great place to visit, but has fallen into disrepair over the past several decades.

We like the playground just in front of the room. The pool is closes. The motel is degraded and used. The owner is kind. We like our stay for the activities nearby in the Catskill region.

This property is disgusting. The pictures on Expedia must be 30 years old. The room had stains on the carpets. There is hair and disgustingness all over the bathroom floors. There were hairs in “clean” sheets, the air conditioning is a very flimsy not put in well old window unit, NO AMENITIES not to mention There are homeless people living amongst you do not stay here.!!!

This disgusting motel should be torn down.

I'm by far one of the most disgusting places that I ever stayed at.. my son didn't even want to use the bathroom.. I have to convince him not to sleep in the car.
