Hotel was nice, breakfast was fine for being included, with coffee, although coffee art needs work. Although the room was nice, the room we stayed in 101, was slightly disappointed with the fact I had a walkin washroom and not a bath, and the fact that the staff all hang around by the fire exist about 10 steps from the room and have zero respect for the room. "I originally booked for 2 nights then booked a further 2 nights - before knowing what I was booking into. The apartment was musty, if quite clean, run down, and poorly appointed. The furniture was all askew, the rooms quite shabby and cupboards broken (eg fridge door). I ended up foregoing the cost of the extra 2 nights just to find something else that was decent."

I'd recommend getting one of the bigger rooms if there are 2 of you, as the cabin rooms are on the small side for 2 people, but everything else was great, bed and pillows were really comfortable so we had a good night's sleep, we would definitely return."

"We stayed here for our daughter’s weeding on the hottest 2 nights of the year. The room was like an oven with 1 small fan and 2 small bottles of water (500ml). Totally inadequate for the weather being 32degress. There was no fridge, no air conditioning and no slippers or dressing gowns. Breakfast was extremely expensive at £34 per person per day. "The solo room is so small. My room was at the top of the stairs which was a bit inconvenient. My fridge want working and despite requests it wasn't fixed. My phone to the front desk also wasn't working. There was only a fan for the room during a heatwave so the room was so stuffy."
