"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We were impressed with the cleanliness and the fact that the house was warm and comfortable.The crockery/cutlery were lovely quality and we were very pleased with all the extras such as handwash: toilet rolls:Washing up liquid: cooking oil/condiments etc.The sitting room was particularly cosy with the flame effect gas fire.All in all it is a great place to stay and couldn’t be moreconvenient for walking into town. Thank you"

"We had no hot water the whole time we were there. You cant get hold of the owner, they don't seem to care. Also there are no fans provided and the pod retains heat so it unbearable in the hot days. "

"The house was spacious, warm, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. It's very peaceful and there a number of great walks which can be reached from the doorstep. The town is a only couple of minutes away. A good base from which to explore the area without a car."

"very private, huge gardens, lovely welcome basket. very comfortable beds with fresh bed linens and towels, plenty of hot water and of course the hot tub!only thing we could say is the walls/kitchen windows and banister were a bit grubby, they really need a good clean . excellent location to access local attractions and a fab pub a couple of miles away serving gorgeous food.star gazing was beautifulX we could see the milky way"

"The location is superb, very near the market and town centre but still quiet. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of storage space for clothes. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering. Excellent bathroom with superb shower. There is a lovely little back garden with table and seating for alfresco dining and there is an efficient and easy to use heating system with a wood burning g stove, which we did not have to use this time.The property is clean and tidy throughout.
